    Generational curse can be broken if a person decides to turn away from ancestral ways and obey God .Accept Jesus as his or her personal saviour and allow Him to work in life.

    This is so good!!! I find that we don’t forgive ourselves of the past we had while not being under Christ’s reign and therefore we have fear that these generational curses will affect us. Let us walk in the identity we have in Christ!!!

    We do not carry the blame for our ancestors sins, but we carry the consciences. Therefore we need to admit the sin & repent.

      @@Bella77260 so do you have for many Christians who are going through some bad experiences same as their fore fathers or witnessing similar nasty patterns? Or will you say they are not genuinely saved since they're still experiencing similar patterns of marital turbulence? We are blessed with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY PLACES but we are living on earth where we need them; this transfer is the reality we must face and stop grandstanding.

    My granny’s family was made fun of for being poor at church when she was a little girl. She was 1 of 10 kids and they had scuffs on their shoes and holes in their clothes and they were bullied by members of the local congregation.
    My great grandparents stopped going to church and my granny and her siblings stopped going to church. My mom never went to church and none of her children grew up religious. My niece and nephew don’t go to church. I remember when I drove my granny to church in her hometown and I was super proud of her. My granny was super fancy and it was a good experience. We never went back but she had a victory that day. This is one generational curse that I’m cool with not breaking it. I’ve had so much spiritual growth and I don’t think I would have the same experience had I grown up religious. It’s almost like a craving to learn and be open to so many life lessons.

      This broke my heart for your family. I experienced something similar in our small town southern baptist church too. Religion is awful and they mainly teach that God is going to send you to hell if you sin. I don't remember ever being taught repentance and the Holy Spirit wasn't part of any message I had ever heard. We had a devastating tragedy in 2006. My husband and I were walking around with our heads down for a while but a coworker of his started building us up with the love of Jesus. We went to his church and soon found happiness and peace. That's also where I learned about the Holy Spirit. Our lives were changed and we're still happily married to this day. All because of God and how He sent His son to die for all of us. I believe your correct and if you find a relationship with Jesus without a religious church, I'm happy for you. I'm glad your granny got her victory. God bless you and your family

    Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed.
    God does not hold me responsible for the sins of my parents. If I were to believe this heretical doctrine, I probably would have never had a family. How unfair for my children to suffer for what I did in my rebellion or for what my parents did and so on. This doctrine sends new believers back into bondage. So sad.

      Who's to say your kids won't/don't suffer your sins? I'm sure my gaslighting hypocrite narcissist parents would say the same for me but I AM TOTALLY MESSED UP and suffer daily way more than my parents could ever have dreamed of suffering, and yet somehow they are blind to it because they had to walk up hills both ways in the snow on the way to school, etc. It's divine comedy at this point. They get away with everything, and I suffer. Sound like a cruel joke to me.

    I think salvation and generational curses are two separate issues. Salvation addresses the original sin, not the sins of ancestors. So, accepting Jesus frees us from the wages of the original sin, that is eternal death, to have eternal life. Generational sin/curse has to do with worldly consequences that are temporal, only in one's lifetime on earth, not eternity.
    How to break it? Still doing research on that.
    God bless you all for sharing your perspectives.

    Well, generational curses are real and one has to live through it until our flesh returns to dust. But one can also experience real happiness through Holy Spirit once in a while during life. Life will not turn out to be all rosy once one accepts Jesus Christ, there'll always be thorns reminding of ancestral curse due to our forefather's rebellion against Holy Spirit. The only way out is not to bring our kids into this world to witness our own experimentation. Just try to find peace and joy in Holy Spirit through righteousness of Jesus Christ instead of marriage and kids, which is designed to please society and it's just not worth it compared to the real happiness in Holy Spirit.

    • @ThenSingsMySoul.

      Uhmmm I'm sorry, marriage and children are in fact biblical and God commanded us to "be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it" (gen 9:7). only very few are actually called away from marriage and children and to a life devoted only to the ministry of Christ.

    • @kumara5492
      @kumara5492 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThenSingsMySoul. Well, in such case why people stop having kids after two or three and rather keep on having kids until the age permits. To be honest humans pick up what is comfortable to them in the bible and assume that they are doing right thing. Humans are biologically social animals driven by instincts and not image of God , only Jesus Christ is image of God in human form.

    • @ThenSingsMySoul.
      @ThenSingsMySoul. 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@kumara5492 no where in the Bible does it say a number of children you're supposed to have, nor can you biblically refute that we are commanded to be fruitful (and if we weren't made to do so God would never have created our bodies with that ability, or created us period for that matter since what would be the point). And God designed marriage- if He did not intend for marriage He would not have designed it. No one is picking and choosing what they want to see here but you it seems, as it is perfectly clear in the scripture that marriage and children are a blessing and only some are called not to participate in that.

      Can anyone claim to trust in Christ alone freeing us from God’s wrath and the bondage of sin if they believe they are still in bondage of generational curses? Your faith is more in the damage of generational curses than it is in being set free through Jesus. “If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed”…I mean unless you have a generational curse in which you have to do extra praying and repentance to get rid of. That friend, is not biblical. “If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” Children of God are no longer slaves to sin or sin through generational curses.

    The threat of the generational curse is over, however. Jeremiah 31:29-31 and Ezekiel 18:1-4, 14-20 all say that under the New Covenant the son will not be punished for his father's sin. We are freed from the generational curse. Jesus' sacrifice heralded the coming of the New Covenant (Luke 22:20), and we enjoy the benefits.

    There is a reason why it says third and fourth generation. This is literally talking about genes not learned behavior. If you guys do more research someone from the fifth generation is like they were never related to the first generation. The cure is repentance indeed by presenting ourselves in the heavenly courts , where Satan is accusing us day and night according to scripture. If there are claims of sins that were never repented from that is what the enemy tries to use against us. This is why it’s so important to repent and cast out the devil in Jesus’ name that way he cannot use claims of past sins against us. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin.

      For the same reason that "Christians" celebrate Easter and Christmas and all other pagan holidays... They refuse to repent and have continually allowed the temples of idolatry to remain in place. If nobody is willing to repent and destroy the idols in their lives than the idols will remain. Like when Yeshua told the wealthy guy who kept the law all his life to give to the poor he went away sad because he was wealthy. Same here... Nobody who is comfortable with the sin in their life is willing to tear it out of their life so there's nothing to be said. It's easy to repent of sin that is hurting us but the comfy sin is nearly impossible to confront. It's all about happy time, not uncomfortable Honesty

      The reason in the OT was idolatry, this is in relation to Exodus 20 v 5 but if you jump to Ezekiel 18 v 20 you see God makes it clear that we are responsible for our own sin. If you are a Christian, faith in Christ breaks every curse, don’t believe this faulty theology it only serves to put people in bondage. The finished work of Christ on the cross is enough be responsible for your sin and choices and the Lord will graciously set you free as He does with the rest of us.

    This video SOUNDS Biblical, but in fact it is not.
    Jesus took care of the curse of the law of sin and death - He did NOT however stop the influences of Fathers to their children.
    2 things are being conflagrated here - put together - We each answer for our own sins; Jesus is the sacrifice for sin - But (again) that doesn't Stop the effects of sin in the lives of others, especially children. The effects of alcoholism are passed down (not intentionally) to the progeny. As well- other physical and emotional dysfunctions.
    Again- it's the difference between condemnation and influence.
    Two different things = condemnation and influence.

    • @DaSmoov54
      @DaSmoov54 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The video is biblical because while Jesus took care of the curse of the Law, He did not promise to stop all the influences of sin in the world. That would go against scripture. Nature growns and pains until Jesus comes back. We will have sorrow, pain, sin, death, and we will see the effects (consequences) of sin in our families, churches, schools, etc..
