The video is good, I found the gifs, random videos, and sound effects to actually make it significantly worse. People are interested in the concepts you provide, and it's a tutorial video, not really an entertainment or funny video, so they all seem very out of place and off-putting. But thank you for the actual substance of the video, which was helpful.
I have to agree with this take, even if it's worded a bit aggressive, I too find that the video is very good and would love more, but maybe tone down the humor part.
Maybe not remove it entirely but make it so it's only images or brief gifs with no sound. Much like Fireship crafts his content, I find he has great production with just the necessary amount of humour to not lose one's attention.

Agreed. The editing was very cringe. You don't need all that extra junk my dude, just hit us with your good info, that's all we need to stay interested. I doubt the SD audience watching this video are the same 8 year olds binging Minecraft videos that make up 90% of TH-cam viewers, so don't feel like you need to pander with meme edits.
The memes and sound effects during the transitions are fine and work to let us know we're moving on, but the sound effects over your voice or the popups blocking what you're showing is a bit distracting

**UPDATE: So, it seems that an extension called infinite browser is 10x faster than image browser. Thanks to the 2 people that pointed it out in the comments. They are both installed the exact same way so I would compare the two and see which one you prefer. I actually pointed it out at **2:11** and said “idk what it is” but it’s pretty great. Instal both and keep the one u like**
These are my 6 must have extensions for "utility" in stable diffusion. I will making another top 5 extensions video for tools like control net that are not just a utility to like an app within A1111.

while infinite image browser is faster yes please keep in mind that if you allow others to use your SD remotely they can obtain complete access to all folders and drives on the machine via the infinite image browser extension. so heads up
Yeah it is so much better, you can tag images, custom tag them, and search for the tags, and also ofc search for anything else of info that was in the prompts... but the tags i like a lot, its way better than have to /Base model/, for putting in comment, and as you mentioned, WAY faster.

Will these work with sdxl
For wildcards, you can clone the repository as a subfolder of your wildcards folder. This will still show up in the UI; it will simply have the cloned folder as part of the keyword name.
The benefit to doing this is that you can get latest without having to copy anything going forward. The values will be modified in place.

ya inpaint anything is pretty awesome. In retrospect I wish I used a better example because it's really powerful. The img i used was too messy and meshed together. If you took a picture of a fruit stand for example you can mask every fruit individually and reimagine it in the prompt. Automasking is the future, I saw something where the auto mask worked with GPT so it could look at something and understand what it is and it's properties. First thing that comes to my mind with that is androids, but like real ones.

For prompt keyword strength, you can hit CTRL-UP or CTRL-DOWN to modify. Highlighting a phrase will put it in parenthesis and apply the modifier.
eg (masterpiece:1.1), (extremely detailed:1.2)
These can also be grouped and have their strength modified together, eg ((masterpiece:1.1), (extremely detailed:1.1):1.3)

Hey! I'm trying to go back and build my way up to get all the important starter stuff. I like trouble shooting stuff (yes, I'm an IT). Eventually I'll do discord but I would hate to disappoint people by not being on enough. Maybe when I get more time. I try to reply here as much as possible though.
The "auto detect size" is something I have been looking for for a while. Did not come with controll net for me. So if anyone knows I thank you in adavance.
FOUND IT! it was Canvas Zoom. I installed it into a fresh install on my laptop and I got the button. It's a silver brick until you update it and then it's a triangle. It also states it on the canvas zoom site under feature #5 github.com/richrobber2/canvas-zoom. The Aspect ratio selector also has the same feature but its placed at the bottom so it's kind of a pain.

SOLVED: I deleted my last comment because I figured it out and it was freaking me out. I just put a random clip in the main stable diffusion (root folder that your webui-user.bat file is in) and named notification.mp3 and it was playing after I finished my prompt. I actually thought something was wrong with my PC but it was playing after every generation. I learned something new today. It's pretty nice to have but I'm going to use a bell instead of a 1min clip.

There's also something called Diffusion Toolkit that's at version 1.2.1 by RupertAvery that looks promising as an alternative to the dead extension, Image Browser. Which there is an alive version of that extension but it takes a little bit digging to find. However I'm ignorant as to how to install those extensions so I'm trying out Infinite.
cool I'll have to check it out. I been using infinite image browser a lot lately though. It's super quick.
@@ArtificallyIntelligentAi I figured out how to install extensions outside of the curated list, but I'm still using Infinite Image Browser. It works well enough. Right now I'm focusing on Prompt Weight and Clip Skip for the various models I'm using. Next I need to focus on learning ControlNet.

Hello, I just installed Stable Diffusion on my PC yesterday, thanks to your help. My question is, I do not have a drop-down box for VAE. I downloaded a VAE and dropped it into the correct file location... but still no drop-down box. I feel there is something simple I am missing. Any help is appreciated. Keep up the great vids!

thanks for the info!! super usefull. now i´m experiencing trouble with inpaint anything. it creates a mask and automatically dissapears after one second. and it doesn`t seem to be saved anywhere on my computer. have any ideas of what might be happening?

Thanks!! Unfortunately, the installation of the extension "sd-webui-inpaint-anything" has disabled SD-A1111 twice (once installed from github, and teh second one directly from the extension tab)

Thank you for the list. How do you get the SD Vae and Clip skip parameters at the top of your interface, please ? I don't have those there and can only modify those parameters by going in the settings, which is time consuming.

Hey there! They are all in stable diffusion the only one you actually need a URL to is the InPainting Anything extension. You can also get the links for the ones in stable diffusion directly through the your extensions > Installed SubTab check out 9:03 in the video. I love the advice and it helps me grow. I'll add the URL's in the video description sometime today to make it easier for everyone.

Thanks for this awesome set of extensions! Wondering if you have any ideas why I may be running into a "SAM generate failed" with inpaint anything? Tried with multiple models. I am running on an AMD GPU and noticed the following in the cmd window: "RuntimeError: Attempting to deserialize object on a CUDA device but torch.cuda.is_available() is False. If you are running on a CPU-only machine, please use torch.load with map_location=torch.device('cpu') to map your storages to the CPU." I've been generating images on my AMD GPU with no problem so far, but this is first time i've seen this error telling me to map storage to CPU. Appreciate any help.
Hey cuda drivers are specifically for nvidia so this error is telling me cpu is your only option if your running an amd and you might have to add the suggested command Map_location=torch.device(‘cpu’) to the arguments in your webui-user.bat file. I don’t have a lot of experience with amd but it’s the same place you put the no half or xformers argument when running xformers but you won’t use that line. It’s the one that starts with ARGS but I’m assuming this will slow down everything considerably. You can try it out but if your running super slow u have to take that command out.

Can you explains what the styles drop-down does?
Ya that’s a standard stable diffusion option that saves whatever you put into the prompt or negative prompt using the save button right above the generated (orange) button. So when you select that style it will bring up your saved prompts. You can actually edit them in your stable diffusion main folder there is a styles css file in there u can open up
after using image a browser a few times, the it/s & s/it would significantly lower back when it used to be part of auto1111 as a main feature before it was removed, did they fix that or does it still impact performance?
Hmmm not sure but you can check out system info if you installed the extension and it will show your memory in red. I wasn't really aware but I did have it slow down a couple of times. I couldn't find info about the issue or if it was fixed.

can you recommend which video card of these two to take for neural networks: RTX 3060 (TUF) 12Gb or RTX 3060 Ti 8Gb?
There is a lot of debate but typically more vram is the way to go. The Ti would be better for video games it have more cuda cores, bigger 256 vs the standard 196 memory bus and TI is 15-25 est. faster across the board, it’s more efficient, bigger gpu, and less heat BUT! And this is a big but, it has less vram. So even tho the regular model is slower it’s like likely to reach its max capacity and give you those out of vram errors. Also when your close to out of vram the system chokes to find room for overhead to run other process and deal with spikes. Long story short I’d def just choose the slower model with more vram because I think on average it will still end up faster. For some stuff 8 gb wont cut it, like large language models. I’d check the Reddits , some people make good arguments for more cuda and tensor cores but my 3070 with 8gb kept running out of memory.

Hi! Always glad to help but mine was dark by default because A1111 or Gradio the program it uses for an interface works off your browser default settings (i use edge). For edge you go settings> Appearance> Dark mode and default. You can even customize it how you like it. HOWEVER, You can customize it directly in stable diffusion, go into stable diffusion settings > User Interface and change the color of the buttons and theme there as well. There is a steam punk setting, glass setting, and if it's set to default it works off whatever your browser had. I'm making a list of settings everyone should know and I'll include that one.

previously im generating pictures over at stable diffusion web, but now im trying to do everything over at automatic1111 but i cant seem to get my 'style' over at the 1111 side. anyone can help me with this?
'style' being the face and stuff, and the models im getting arent that close to what i did over at stable diffusion web. so i cant seem to replicate the work im generating over at the stable diffusion web. cuz over at the stable diffusion web you dont have to pick any models to begin with, its just adding your prompts and adjusting the guidance scale/seed etc.
hi, it says that I need to disable the built-in canvas-zoom-and-pan extension on my web ui for the inpainting extension to work but I have no idea how to do that. please help
When you say inpainting do you mean inpaint anything? You can disable it by going to extensions then the installed subtab and uncheck marking canvas zoom. If you need canvas zoom gone completely you can close your webui-user.bat file and then going into your stable diffusions webui/extensions folder and delete the canvas zoom folder and start it up again.
I have a specific question maybe you can help me with. Say that have some random image I’m using to create an Openpose in Controlnet. Can I then upload another image to apply to that pose?? Or can I only type a prompt?? For instance, say I have a pose I really like. Some random guy but I like the pose. Then I want to use a Batman picture. Can I apply that picture to that pose?? Good I hope this question made sense. 😂
I actually just tried it and it's kind of hard to do and I haven't gotten good results. I'll try it again later. It would be much easier to train a Lora file for that person's face and then throw the pose you want in control net and generate a prompt using the Lora file name to bring up the likeness of the person in all of those images. then you can make that face on any pose 100x no problem.
Im using A1111 on MAC M2. Everything was working fine.
After installing the extensions, Google Chrome now will not launch saying the URL is not private.
I have tried restarting, updating, clearing history/cache but still cannot get it to work.

Hmmm you can uncheck mark one extension at a time in in the installed sub tab within the stable diffusion extensions tab. It should all be private. The only thing I can think of is photopea which I didn’t show here that uses i frames from the site to show ads. Maybe turn off any vpn you are using?
I followed your directions but now I get this error message when I try to make an image: RuntimeError: "LayerNormKernelImpl" not implemented for 'Half',
any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
That sounds like a model or vae is pruned and is conflicting with something, try disabling all extra extensions and then change models around see if the problem disappears
@@gara8142 Thanks for the reply. I fixed this problem by adding '--no-half' to the line 'set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=' in my 'webui-user.bat' file.
@@TheSnakecarver that was my guess just because of the half or use a v1.5 custom model from civitai instead of v2.1 which I think you are using since you got the error. By the way what card do you have? If you have a 1080 and above you should be using --xformers instead of no half but you will need cuda drivers installed to utilize xformers. Let me know what card you have and we might be able to speed things up.

I have Inpaint anything installed.. xformer running.. But it is not showing up on my Webui tab. How should i fix this?
a good restart of the webui-user.bat file should do the trick or an update if you haven't done it already. 'm not sure what else would block it. You can also go into settings and click on show all pages then press ctrl + F and search for UI tab order. Below it is hidden UI tabs, make sure its not in there and then you can make a custom UI tag order with inapinting anything at the top.

I dont have the sd-dynamic prompts file in my extensions folder why is this?
Hmmm no matter what I do I can't get Canvas Zoom to work and the Inpaint Anything doesn't show up. I've installed them, uninstalled them. Used the code button on github, reloaded the ui. Shut down a1111 altogether, nothing I do gets any of them to ever work/show up.
That's super strange Do you have another extension that might be in conflict with them? You can also try deleting their folders in the stable diffusion webui extensions folder and install them again. You might be able to force them by going to settings clicking on show all pages then ctrl + F and type UI Tab Order. You can click in those that box and it will show you all your tabs and you can put them in order. If it's just a bug, you should be able to add canvas zoom and inpaint anything if it is one of the options on the drop down.
Weird my stable diffusion tab doesnt have a search bar. Nothing Ctrl+F cant fix but still irksome.
Weird. Try a diff browser or make sure your only on 100% zoom. Sometimes when it goes above that things go missing. It's a bit weird but I'd def try another browser first before you troubleshoot every using every solution on reddit. It might just fix if you browser has some advanced security settings.

For me Inpaint Everything is very unstable, it often processes infinitely when I run it, and when it freezes like this I can only refresh the stable diffusion web page and lose all progress, anyone has a similar issue? Sometimes when I wait long enough I get an output but I don't think it should take a few minutes to run?
So your not alone and when I made the video is was super new and everything worked for me but I’m hearing a lot of problems. Meta’s SAM segment anything model is free to use on their website and does something similar and it’s what inpaint anything was trying to achieve.

How do u get "Resize to" and "Resize by" tabs in img2img?
Hi! That was canvas zoom that added that functionality. The aspect ratio selector also has it but its kind of inconvenient since its way at the bottom. Install canvas zoom and you should have a silver ruler or triangle.

Vlad diffusion is great and has a lot of stuff out the box but A1111 is the chosen one. More people will have to adopt it before I make the switch. Before it was InvokeAI that was the A1111 killer but, I don't even know what's going on with that tool anymore. Vladmantic looks very promising though. I'll have to wait and see if enough people adopt it.
@@ArtificallyIntelligentAi Vladmantic is different from invoke ai tho since invoke ai is a completely different webui while vladmantic is just opinionated automatic1111. Everything that works in automatic1111 works in vladmantic too,it wasnt like that in invoke ai for example so I didnt like it.
How about a video on how to speed up A1111 startup time? It takes AGES to launch. 2 minutes or more 😖
Ya it takes a while but there are so many factors it might be a diff issue for everyone but the best way to cut time is disable extensions like roop, control net or others that you only use once in a while because it will have to load everything for the complex extension and sometimes look for updates or do file integrity checks. Just uncheck those extensions in the extensions installed tab. Embedding and Lora files also have to be loaded. Diff models also have diff load time v2.1 is terrible with that but custom models like deliberate are pretty quick

Canvas Zoom breaks everything for me, since I mostly use SD on my art tablet. :-( (I connect over WiFi to my PC running the web ui.)
Oh man, that sucks. If you go into settings for it you can redefine the hot keys and disable some of the features that might be messing up your tablet
@@ArtificallyIntelligentAi There's no keyboard or mouse on a tablet. Canvas Zoom requires keyboard and mouse. It would have to support pinch to zoom/pan, but I don't see any way to enable that.
Nice video, but: the automatic (?) translation (in my case, German) of the video title and especially the info box renders them pretty much unusable. Sounds like the automatic translation of a Chinese instruction manual from the 1990s. 😂 I don't know if you can turn this off in the settings of your channel. If so, please do.
Sorry about that. That's google translate. I'll try and clean it up a bit before translating it but I couldn't dream to manually do the subtitles, even in English. You can turn off the subtitles though if you don't need em.

This extension is hit or miss with people. It worked fine on my PC but shortly after releasing this video I noticed quite a few people having issues with it. I'm really not sure why it only works for some. Hopefully they come out with an update to fix the compatibility issues.

Hey! No but I ❤ MMOs and played a few korean ones that have a similar look and feel to that game. I had to look it up. I also found something for you on CivitAI, There are 5 embedding models for shadowverse here: civitai.com/models/8915/shadowverse-aenea-embed If you don't know what embeddings are, they are small files under 1 MB that you can put into your embeddings folder in stable diffusion and all the pics with the embeddings keyword will look like that Shadowverse Character . Which extension is doing this? For the inpaint anything? That's strange, try deleting it completely from the extensions/sd-webui-inpaint-anything folder and reinstall it. Maybe there is something corrupted.
Just be aware that each extension you add, increases boot-time of Stable Diffusion.
Don't enable ALL AVAILABLE extensions available or else it will take like an hour or longer to start-up.
Only leave the ones you use all the time, enabled.
(I speak from experience. I used to have a massive list of extensions enabled and it took forever.)

The title is "You, the Essential A1111 Extensions for a Stable Diffusion," which looks a bit silly but isn't that bad. You can immediately tell that it was written by someone who doesn't know any German. What's much worse are the chapters and the description, which are extremely chaotic.
If I may give you some advice, you should refrain from translating your text into German because if someone only knows German, they won't watch your video anyway because you're speaking English in your Videos. And for Germans who can speak English, the translation is just annoyingly disruptive. This is, of course, just my personal opinion.
