Hey - I picked up a bottle of Quattro Pizzi when I was in Milan in March. I’ll send you a sample. It’s beautiful - a photorealistic scent of white tuberoses (not indolic or once they’ve turned yellow) with a hint of rum and coconut. Lasts all day on me and the sillage is captivating too. Even worked in the cold rainy Italian weather. Wavechild is similar to a watermelon jelly rancher but aquatic. Fun but not sure I want a full bottle.

There is a scent called Watermelons by Shay & Blue ( Watermelons Fragrance Notes: Watermelon, green mandarin, honeysuckle, green leaves, green tea, vetiver) ... I love their Blueberry musk. It's at luckyscent & not expensive. Worth a sample. Re: New West For Women, yep I was around when it was first released and still have some samples. Perlier Nature's One Melon Flower is in that lane: also discontinued but still around for a decent price. btw, they also make a Gardenia and it's quite pretty. Perlier made some nice fragrances in bath gels & perfume.
I love waking up to a Veronica Says video! I haven’t tried any of these, but am most interested in DBIR Stravaganza and Wave Child. I gave my OG DBIR to my granddaughter, even though I loved it, I love her more🥰 As far as the drama around certain celebrity fragrances, as long as the person(s) isn’t an axe murderer, child trafficker or serial killer, and creating fragrances from prison, I will give it a try😄

Comète definitely starts cherry, floral and almond , there is a note as well that I don’t like ( not sure what it is,dang it), the dry down after 20 minutes is when I started loving it. Dried down to a beautiful soft yet rich musk on my skin, the icky note disappeared ….I had to buy😍❤️ I met two lovely ladies there and they loved the opening, later they re smelled on me; it was a nopers from them. I was told by the manager that a gent earlier ,also disliked the opening but returned an hour later to purchase as loved it on him when it settled There were beautiful new eye palettes , I purchased Le Beiges “deep mauve” it went on so silky, it is gorgeous. My nose is still not quite educated in many notes, apologies 🙏🏻. I wish I could describe the scent better . Big hugs and MWA’s🥰🙋🏻♀️❤️🩷🧡

I want all three! Also cellist-Grandson keeps asking me when I'm going to start watching Stranger things, and I went to see Dune II with my youngest son a few weeks back (really glad we watched the first one the night before at home, though, or I would have been lost)! I agree about your point on the Kardashians, about how we all have different working budget on our "hobbies" and I will see Dune 2 since you mentioned it. I tried Acqua di Gioia intense and liked it but it dried down being just a tad masculine on me so I did not get it and instead I got the OG again after so many years. I also picked up BIR Green Stravaganza and you are spot on! I love the initial spray, if only it stayed that way, but the dry down was just another vanilla sweet skin scent so I had to return it. I plan to get Ocean di Gioia (which to me smells like an aquatic watermelon) next even though it in not a new release, but just for the upcoming summer! :D

Wavechild is so good! I bought a bottle shortly after it was released. It’s the most realistic watermelon fragrance I’ve tried. Not like candy. I’m not a fan of candy-like frags. I’m sure you’ll love it! The coconut is more fresh than creamy and watermelon stands out more than the coconut.

You already know I love Pear Jam. Cosmic is okay. Not a love but I did pick up a travel spray and upgraded to the full size, the price got me 😂. Stravaganza, I picked up a travel spray. But haven't tested it yet. Bergamot and Hinoki sounds right up my alley! 🤚🏽love Stranger Things!! Yes my family and I will be watching 😊. 😂 yes that Bond #9 bottle does scream Easter/ Mother's Day. I think you might be the first review of Acqua di Gioia Intense, I'm so happy because I couldn't find anything on this thus far. Admittedly it sounds like it might be too strong for my taste, but it sounds quite lovely. Maybe I'll get a travel size and test it out.
FYI if you really are looking for a watermelon fragrance you may want to try a Dua release called The Empress. Mine came today and it reminds me of Solstice with a little better longevity. Great summer fragrance:)) Not sure what prompted me to order it but it was not because of the watermelon, that was a nice bonus. Made me think of you:))

My husband rarely comments on my perfume but when I tried Cosmic, he said I only smelled nice from afar! 😂😂 he hated it when I came closer… I’m stalking the perfume counters around me to get my nose on the new Acqua Di Gioia Intense. I loved the OG but it was so short lived on my skin, I never bought a bottle for that reason. I bought a travel spray of Joyphoria by Charlotte Tilbury yesterday. Classis white yellow florals for summer such as Alien Goddess… glad I only bought a 10ml. I also got a bottle of Pear Gelato by Theodoros Khalotinis. Yum pistachio vibes but with pear instead of the pistachios. Cute! I also smelled the new Kayali… too close to La Belle for me. Like a less sugary version. I don’t need it! The thing that I’m most excited about is a bottle of Loewe Ella that is coming in the mail. I wanted a Loewe for so long. I finally made my choice! 🎉 Last thing on my radar is Turquatic by MAC. Last comment, I promise 😁When I can't locate a spray sample online, I resort to using the dabber and transfer the fragrance into a 2 ml spray bottle (I have plenty of those 🥴). It truly transforms the experience and gives me a better sense of the scent compared to just dabbing it.

I loved New West, an updated version would be so perfect for summer. I like the Andrea Maack solstice but haven't worn it enough to love it, it is maybe a touch more floral that I want in a Watermelon fragrance but it is lovely and relevant to the inspiration, as was New West in it's time. We just need watermelon scents of the world!
I'm going to need to sample Solstice again. I really enjoyed it and thought the watermelon 🍉 note was the best I had tried in years, but it faded faster than I had hoped. Let me pull out my sample again! 👍👍👍

I just got a bottle of Eris Delta of Venus and the store included a sample of Marc-Antoine Barrois Tilia. WOW! It’s a stunner! I also picked up travels of Missy, Carnavale, and Miami Nectar. We’ll see if any are winners for me. I’m not sold yet. I love the original Acqua di Gioia so I’m looking forward to testing the Intense, but man, these new releases are keeping me busy and broke! 😂😂

I got the other two Salt & Stone body sprays in the sale and returned them both they were a BIG no for me. Santal was was full-on dill pickle, the rose oud one was rank oh boy just stinky! 😂😂 But lots of people love them! 🤓 I think I'd like the bergamot hinoki one though! 😅
I can see what you mean. The body washes in both scents just arrived. They are great for body wash. Not sure I'll be grabbing the accompanying sprays. I actually like both, but have similar scents already.
I want to try out the intense ADG! I almost bought the original for hot summer days but I always prefer an intense version. The Bond no9 New York Flowers sounds so good! I love an effervescent floral. I just sold my Donna Born in Roma but picked up the original Donna. I’m excited to try that out! I also want to pick up the new M. Micallef too. So many fragrances to try and not enough time in the day 😂

Salt and Stone has deodorant. I bought all 4 and mostly reach for the Bergamot and Hinoki.. although I’ve been saving the Neroli one for Summer. The other 2 are nice but strong and compete with my fragrance so I can only wear selectively. The Santal one smells very much like LeLabo to my nose.

Hey - I picked up a bottle of Quattro Pizzi when I was in Milan in March. I’ll send you a sample. It’s beautiful - a photorealistic scent of white tuberoses (not indolic or once they’ve turned yellow) with a hint of rum and coconut. Lasts all day on me and the sillage is captivating too. Even worked in the cold rainy Italian weather. Wavechild is similar to a watermelon jelly rancher but aquatic. Fun but not sure I want a full bottle.

btw, they also make a Gardenia and it's quite pretty. Perlier made some nice fragrances in bath gels & perfume.

Comète definitely starts cherry, floral and almond , there is a note as well that I don’t like ( not sure what it is,dang it), the dry down after 20 minutes is when I started loving it. Dried down to a beautiful soft yet rich musk on my skin, the icky note disappeared ….I had to buy😍❤️
I met two lovely ladies there and they loved the opening, later they re smelled on me; it was a nopers from them. I was told by the manager that a gent earlier ,also disliked the opening but returned an hour later to purchase as loved it on him when it settled
There were beautiful new eye palettes , I purchased Le Beiges “deep mauve” it went on so silky, it is gorgeous.
My nose is still not quite educated in many notes, apologies 🙏🏻. I wish I could describe the scent better .

I want all three!
Also cellist-Grandson keeps asking me when I'm going to start watching Stranger things, and I went to see Dune II with my youngest son a few weeks back (really glad we watched the first one the night before at home, though, or I would have been lost)!

I agree about your point on the Kardashians, about how we all have different working budget on our "hobbies" and I will see Dune 2 since you mentioned it. I tried Acqua di Gioia intense and liked it but it dried down being just a tad masculine on me so I did not get it and instead I got the OG again after so many years. I also picked up BIR Green Stravaganza and you are spot on! I love the initial spray, if only it stayed that way, but the dry down was just another vanilla sweet skin scent so I had to return it. I plan to get Ocean di Gioia (which to me smells like an aquatic watermelon) next even though it in not a new release, but just for the upcoming summer! :D

FYI if you really are looking for a watermelon fragrance you may want to try a Dua release called The Empress. Mine came today and it reminds me of Solstice with a little better longevity. Great summer fragrance:)) Not sure what prompted me to order it but it was not because of the watermelon, that was a nice bonus. Made me think of you:))

My husband rarely comments on my perfume but when I tried Cosmic, he said I only smelled nice from afar! 😂😂 he hated it when I came closer… I’m stalking the perfume counters around me to get my nose on the new Acqua Di Gioia Intense. I loved the OG but it was so short lived on my skin, I never bought a bottle for that reason. I bought a travel spray of Joyphoria by Charlotte Tilbury yesterday. Classis white yellow florals for summer such as Alien Goddess… glad I only bought a 10ml. I also got a bottle of Pear Gelato by Theodoros Khalotinis. Yum pistachio vibes but with pear instead of the pistachios. Cute! I also smelled the new Kayali… too close to La Belle for me. Like a less sugary version. I don’t need it! The thing that I’m most excited about is a bottle of Loewe Ella that is coming in the mail. I wanted a Loewe for so long. I finally made my choice! 🎉 Last thing on my radar is Turquatic by MAC. Last comment, I promise 😁When I can't locate a spray sample online, I resort to using the dabber and transfer the fragrance into a 2 ml spray bottle (I have plenty of those 🥴). It truly transforms the experience and gives me a better sense of the scent compared to just dabbing it.

I loved New West, an updated version would be so perfect for summer. I like the Andrea Maack solstice but haven't worn it enough to love it, it is maybe a touch more floral that I want in a Watermelon fragrance but it is lovely and relevant to the inspiration, as was New West in it's time. We just need watermelon scents of the world!

I just got a bottle of Eris Delta of Venus and the store included a sample of Marc-Antoine Barrois Tilia. WOW! It’s a stunner! I also picked up travels of Missy, Carnavale, and Miami Nectar. We’ll see if any are winners for me. I’m not sold yet. I love the original Acqua di Gioia so I’m looking forward to testing the Intense, but man, these new releases are keeping me busy and broke! 😂😂

I do like their body sprays though. Not hugely into body sprays but theirs are pretty long lasting and serve a purpose in my collection.

Yes ma’am, that green Stravaganza is so so so good. My husband goes crazy for me when I wear it. BUT i can replicate it w Kylie’s cosmic layered w j lo Still. It is a good one tho! Wavechild is on my list, room1015 is one of my fave houses.

I got the other two Salt & Stone body sprays in the sale and returned them both they were a BIG no for me. Santal was was full-on dill pickle, the rose oud one was rank oh boy just stinky! 😂😂 But lots of people love them! 🤓 I think I'd like the bergamot hinoki one though! 😅
I can see what you mean. The body washes in both scents just arrived. They are great for body wash. Not sure I'll be grabbing the accompanying sprays. I actually like both, but have similar scents already.

Salt and Stone has deodorant. I bought all 4 and mostly reach for the Bergamot and Hinoki.. although I’ve been saving the Neroli one for Summer. The other 2 are nice but strong and compete with my fragrance so I can only wear selectively. The Santal one smells very much like LeLabo to my nose.
