FRFR, just cuz WOJ says something they take it as gospel. Also, so a player cant be frustrated now.. doesnt make sense. If anything, he probably just wants beal to get healthy so they can play as the team was constructed.
Maybe cause he has a history of crying and demanding trades. Why would we believe anything KD says when he clearly isn’t someone who is willing to stay on work on any team he’s been on? 🤡
It's kind of wild that we use LeBron as the avatar for player empowerment, even though his version of player empowerment was just signing short contracts, putting pressure on front offices to make beneficial moves, and making plans to play with his friends. At this point, the only type of player empowerment we ever discuss is players asking out of contracts--something that LeBron has literally never done. Honestly, I think the face of this current movement should probably be James Harden 😂
-- Lebron is an outlier. He's one of the very few who can sign 1 year deals and have the same team (Cavs) keep resigning him. Lebron leaving the CAVS to go to MIA was understandable but also a cop out. My biggest gripe about that mess? Putting it on TV. Smart marketing campaign (for him), but I lost a lot of respect for him that day -- still a phenomenal athlete.
And if that's the biggest issue he has, that's a pretty clean sheet then... By now that's over a decade ago, gotta think it could be water under the bridge at this point @@jlui21

He flops way too much for a 6'8 physical beast like Embiid who are the anti-Giannis/Jokic/MJ. As a GOAT? Behind MJ and Kareem. And for Bill Russell, he's the GOAT Herder.
League just needs to make it so that you cant trade a player in the first 2 years of a contract (worth X or more). This incentivizes both sides to make sure they are making the right decision when agreeing to a contract in the first place.
These guys have zero respect for fans. Imagine spending $150 for a jersey, $100-$500 per ticket per game, and have guys making $30M/year just leave? It’s actually outright animosity for fans.
Fans have zero respect for themselves if they keep consuming a product while still being dissatisfied of the outcome. Besides the guys making 30m/year is on the decision of the owner who can afford it. And not to fans' perception that their piddling expenses support these player contracts. The TV contract deals are far more lucrative to the NBA and players/union than the tiny drop in the bucket your jersey and season tickets are worth.
Why is this a story, they were losing, shouldn't he be frustrated. The sports media is a joke. Then woj adds on he has checked out, what? You can say whatvyou want about kd but he has never checked out on any team. He gives his all. Just media making more of a story about being frustrated at losing. Isn't every player frustrated with that?

3:41 i mean. Sign and trade has been a thing for a while now. Also...there's blake griffin his last "year" on the clippers. Signs a max, they call him mr clipper a month or 2 later he gets traded.
Durant should be frustrated with himself because he himself is the sole reason the team is in the state it’s in. And if rumors are true he pushed for them to go for Beal yet now he’s frustrated with all the injuries? Bruh they all knew Beal had an injury history before they traded for him. They chose to go for this top heavy style of team with a big 3

How many teams in how many years for Durant lol We knew this would happen At some point, if you want to be viewed and treated like the elite of the elite, you’re gonna have to step up and be a leader. Durant wants his cake and to eat it, too He wants to be seen as the best of the best, but doesn’t want any of the responsibility which comes with it
Not for nothing but KD should be frustrated! The injuries are annoying. No fuckinn consistency. I don’t get it should he be happy that the team is injured and they are losing ? He’s averaging 30ppg with over 50 40 90 splits
Some of these star players demand a lot from the franchises but they don't do there part such as leadership and accountability, they think having great stats is what they will only give...to be great have to be a leader
To be fair its a two-way street. Some stars have the leverage to ask more out of their franchise that way. Before Giannis' contract was set to expire for 25-26 season, he had a talk with the Bucks FO about playoff aspirations and their commitment to fielding a roster that can get there. Bucks FO answered with the blockbuster Dame trade then Giannis followed suit signing a 3 year extension with a PO for 27-28. I think some of the successful prime players have seen bad FOs/owners keep around top 10~20 players just to make money. While they have the ability to compete still, they can be direct about being competitive with them or just ship them out and move on.
KD got spoiled in GSW. It seems like he wants what he had in GSW or what Tatum has with the Celtics. Maybe he is realizing that he just isn’t great enough to win a championship as the best player on a team.
So when curry was frustrated with the warriors losing did that mean he wanted out?? Kd being frustrated with the suns means he want out? Yal are clowns😂 when was that ever the case
4:50 fun fact. Something like that wont happen unless the teams themselves are more restricted. As much as people want to put it all on the players, the reality is that it's 90% on the front offices when big stuff like that happens.
Russillo is talking about how restrictive the new CBA is. Teams over the second apron (starting next season) cannot trade away more money than they receive, even if their trading partner can absorb the salary. They cannot aggregate contracts in one trade, which hurts value matching. They cannot sign players bought out during the buyout market after the trade deadline. So adding those value pieces for a playoff run won't happen. There's more too. That "second apron" is basically so punitive that teams will either use it as a hard cap to depress spending, or teams will clear the second apron and be royally fucked a bit. And I think it'll only take one team to do it, then be in such a bad spot that it's a deterrent for the rest of the league. The upcoming deadline should look real different. Teams projected to be over the second apron next season bout to start giving players away.

Phoenix Suns are a good team, we're only a third into the season, by the end of the season the Suns will be a threat and teams like the Magic, Wolves and OKC will get brought back to earth.
I remember flipping in the first game of the season for the suns this year. I look and see Beal and Booker in street clothes. Turned it off and haven’t watched a game all season 😂
1) It's going to continue until teams start calling these guys' bluffs on their trade demands. If they make a public demand, send them home w/o pay until you can make the trade you want. 2) Players don't have the 30-40 years coaches and executives could have as a career, so they're going to seek opportunities. We've made it 10000% about "RAAAAAAAAANGZ" the last twenty years or so, so we can't act surprised when a KD goes to an established team to get his 3) Players are smarter than in the past- if you're trying to force a trade to a specific team, why wouldn't you do what you could to destroy your current team's leverage in order to make sure your next team keeps as much of their talent and pics as possible?! Look what happened to Melo, KD, Kawhi, etc after their trade? Imagine SGA on the Clippers and even Bridges on Phoenix? Melo watched half the players that made the Knicks decent fly past him to Denver. 4) KD wants the power and acclaim LeBron has while having no interest in shouldering the responsibility LeBron has.
I think the trading of CP3 and Ayton for an injured Beal, Nurkic and Grayson Allen is the frustration. Allen has been really good actually but still the starting 5 of KD, Booker, CP3, Ayton and Okogie/Goodwin/Gordon/etc... is a whole lot better.
KD will never be happy because no team will ever be HIS team he's just wandering around trying to win he's a great player but he doesn't really have his team
Durant wanted his own team, until he understood that he is not good enough to win as the best player on a team without an all star supporting cast. He was never the best player on the Warriors, the team had a winning record without him, he is just a more talented Scottie Pippen
Durant is the reason. He lost the locker room in OKC, didn't really wanna lead the Thunder, then choked against the Warriors in the 2016 WCF. He's injury prone. He chose Kyrie. Everyone knew that dude was a flake. Then Durant got swept in 22 against the team Curry destroyed in the Finals. He gutted the Suns.
You don’t fire Monty, trade Paul and Ayton and grab all these guys without Durant and Bookers consent. This is exactly what he wanted and now he’s pouting. That’s what he wanted in Brooklyn and he bitched his way out of there too. HE’S THE PROBLEM The new restrictions have already started. Dame wanted to be in Miami and Portland said fuck that, they moved him to where it benefited them the most. That’s what teams have to do. It’s a business
Dame is so sad that he's in Milwaukee 😂😂😂😂 yeah ok. The reason why he didn't go to Miami is because Miami didn't think there would be actual competition once he said he only wanted to go to Miami. Miami was wrong. That had nothing to do with the cba. As long as front offices can trade players....players can request it. It's that simple
@@thetrib1 I didn’t say Dame was sad. He clearly wanted to be in Miami, that was his first choice. Players can request to be traded but it doesn’t mean the team has to trade them where they want to go
@@BWalker9313 my point is is that every time a superstar has "forced" their way out it's because the front office did what they felt was best for them. every time. and yes miami was technically his first choice. but the real first choice is to get up out of the trailblazers. "Players can request to be traded but it doesn’t mean the team has to trade them where they want to go" it never has. and the only thing players can do is pout or not. they can't trade themselves and they can't trade for others. THEY'VE NEVER HAD THE POWER TO DO SO.
lmao its KD's fault the GM made awful moves. is it also KD's fault the Nets forced kyrie to sit out? or that they traded harden for a washed ben simmons
Yes. Dlo has been frustrating to watch this season and he thinks he’s owed something after his heroics in game 4 against the grizz then two games against the warriors which he was then awarded with a contract. He’s really not playing well this season and it makes it even more frustrating when he runs to the media saying “I don’t know what my role is” or “I’m not a point guard”….what do you mean?
Defensively, he’s not good. Which everyone knows but he cannot have stretches where he is unplayable because the lakers rely on his ability to make plays and make shots. The wcf was so bad, Denver exploited Dlo and took him out of the series.
At the end of the day… these legends are on the backend of their careers n if u 15+years in .. losing grows more frustrating… plus the everyday media shaming these players when they don’t when every year it’s only 1 champion and everybody else is a loser. Every year 12 other superstars are on losing teams. N players don’t respect the narrative when it’s so hard to win a championship. Durant thinks the grass is greener everywhere he goes then realizes it’s all the same. Find a spot you like and stay there. Build a relationship with the front office so you can have some influence on roster construction and coaching hires. All this team hopping and all you got out of it is 2 rings people discredit because you went to one of the greatest teams in the history of the game.
Maybe that is what Durant is insecure about the in the end. Meanwhile the guy he took after his game from being Dirk Nowitzki has 1 ring and 2 finals to show for as a feature player for the Mavs his entire career. But in the end Dirk was happy to do it his way being the man and the franchise knowing enough about him to build a competitive playoffs roster when he was playing in his primes.
Here we go again. K.D more interested in arguing with media and fans on social media. Inatead of providing leadership to his team. He is a punk and a clown. Smh.
I dislike the group of Kyrie, Durant, Kawhi, Westbrook, and Harden. Malcontents, who won't play out their contracts and have no idea about basketball roster construction. Durant should thank his lucky stars that he went to Golden State who actually knew what they were doing and didn't let him meddle. That press conference in Brooklyn where Kyrie was talking about running the franchise "with the owner" was beyond laughable.
Durant seems immature and unrealistic in his worldview. His perpetual frustration has caused him to jump from team to team, trying to chase a ring, instead of helping build a team and culture, the way somebody with some actual BALLS does it.
KD just plays great. He's had back to back situations with awful GM leadership. The nets traded harden for a washed Simmons. The suns traded their whole roster for a washed beal. and he hasn't complained publicly once
Suns aren't doing too hot, as of today they are 10th in the western conference only a half game ahead of the warriors. Not looking great at the moment.
Just replace the Sun’s name and insert every team KD has played for. I don’t understand this guy and furthermore, why is he so passive in his play sometimes? He should be taking more shots.
i think he should have stayed in brooklyn for a year or two. claxton and cam thomas progression plus spence and dfs the nets would have been competive with durant for sure
I already had my doubts about the Suns winning the West, much less getting to or even winning the Finals, mainly because of how they are currently constructed. Way too top-heavy. But the constant rumbling of Durant's temperamental, I-just-wanna-hoop nature coming out during every stop in his career affirms why I think the Suns aren't winning the West. Durant will certainly be a HOFer and ranked as one of the greatest players, but I think he will end up being quite overrated given his incredible physical gifts compared to his rather mediocre playoff record and history, especially outside his time with the Dubs.
KD just wants to hoop. There’s more to being the superstar than just hooping. Leading off the court. Motivating. Representing the organization well on social media. Press conferences.
you defended durant bc you don't like lebron and you don't like kyrie. if either one of those guys did the nonsense durant has been doing for years, you would've been killing them far sooner. it's ok to just acknowledge your biases, we all have them
Durant back to OKC could become a very real possibility. And he might actually wanna go! I’d give JDub and picks for him in a heartbeat. Get a still serviceable wing around Booker, let them rebound as a team. Probably won’t happen, but it’d be both good basketball and hilarious
Only way to end his career is going back the Thunder and helping the young guys win a championship. He gotta right his wrongs with that move and bring it back full circle before retiring. Lebron was the most hated man in the league before he went back to Cleveland.
KD ain’t it!!!!!! This is my Big-Picture takeaway from all this… NOOO, I’m not saying KD isn’t a Elite Player/Scorer. He’s definitely One of the best players I’ve ever seen on the Court… but he IS NOT one of the Greatest Players Ever. I DO NOT GIVE A F*** about them rings wit the GSW. I was SOOOOO not impressed with those rings. That team already won a Championship (& been to 2). He didn’t have to Leader & he was teammates with 2 of the Greatest Shooters EVER (one who had already won 2MVPs) Since he departed from Golden State, he’s been looking helpless! Can’t get his team past the 2nd round, aligning himself wit the wrong teammates & hasn’t even sniffed the Finals. Meanwhile, Jokic & Giannis won rings since u left. Even Jimmy Butler was able to Will & Lead dis team to the Finals (twice) For a lil while, I thought he was on Lebron & Steph level but I was wrong & a lil disappointed

Draymond is a piece of shit and he's proven that even more so, Westbrook is a horrible team mate and has proven that, so what was wrong with KD moving on from them? Brooklyn vs kyrie was a nightmare for him as well. If gsw traded draymond and KD stayed then that would have been ideal but why would anyone want to play with that ass hole
Frustration with what? To what end? He's got little ground to stand on concerning moving elsewhere.
This is why I love Ryen. He's been a Durant guy but can still criticize how ridiculous the last decade of his career has been in hindsight. Bill still soft balls everything for Durant because he agreed to do a bunch of podcasts with him that one summer.
BS has a podcast from this week saying the same exact thing RR is saying.
@@Chalk89 Now, yeah. But he's gone out of his way over the years to defend or gloss over his Durant takes, but absolutely demolish (and rightfully so) Kyrie.
What did durant do? Be frustrated with the team losing? Shouldn't the entire team be frustrated with losing notbjust durant. I know people hate him but woj just made up a story to get headlines. Shouldn't every player who team is losing be frustrated. He ner asked to be tradedvor never checked out as woj trying to say. Just made up stuff by the media
I appreciate @TheRinger put videos on YT but the backgrounds graphics on these are distracting and should go away, imo. Most viewers prob won't care but figured it's worth sharing in case y'all wonder if it's something you want to keep doing or not. Thanks.
As a Nets fan I truly enjoyed having him here in Brooklyn. It’s KD. Every night is a movie
I hated that we had to trade him however MAN it felt good to be free of this kinda stuff
Brooklyn picks are looking juicy!
Why is everyone taking WOJ side and not hearing it from KD??
Because he's not a likeable guy.
Because they want to power trip & start a a narrative to then complain about what the effect THEY had on whatever situation at hand, which the media objectively do end up playing a part in many things & do click bait things like this because of internalized jealousy ego & cowardice
FRFR, just cuz WOJ says something they take it as gospel. Also, so a player cant be frustrated now.. doesnt make sense. If anything, he probably just wants beal to get healthy so they can play as the team was constructed.
This the same KD who has had burner accounts. And has lied before
Maybe cause he has a history of crying and demanding trades.
@@jlui21 Surely he has regained that respect by now though?
And if that's the biggest issue he has, that's a pretty clean sheet then... By now that's over a decade ago, gotta think it could be water under the bridge at this point @@jlui21
@@JamieOrlandoVIVRANT -- he's a great player. That was never the issue. His 2 rings in MIA are worth half. His ring in CLE? That's double -- so props to him.

CON: He "crowns" himself the king periodically. He flops way too much for a 6'8 physical beast like Embiid who are the anti-Giannis/Jokic/MJ.
As a GOAT? Behind MJ and Kareem. And for Bill Russell, he's the GOAT Herder.
@jlui21 a ring is a ring. He has 4
League just needs to make it so that you cant trade a player in the first 2 years of a contract (worth X or more).
The Russell slander is hilarious
When you are guarding no one in an NBA game (talking about Russell). At the same time I give LBJ a pass at this stage. So with LBJ on the court they play 4 on 5 most plays but Russell gets a whole segment about not playing D smh
3:41 i mean. Sign and trade has been a thing for a while now. Also...there's blake griffin his last "year" on the clippers. Signs a max, they call him mr clipper a month or 2 later he gets traded.
Why the video so blurry
Durant should be frustrated with himself because he himself is the sole reason the team is in the state it’s in. And if rumors are true he pushed for them to go for Beal yet now he’s frustrated with all the injuries? Bruh they all knew Beal had an injury history before they traded for him. They chose to go for this top heavy style of team with a big 3
This take was a week too early. If you would've waited 3 days, your opinion is way different because Beal was out
If Durant wants to go down as an all timer, I feel he has to do one of two things:
Return to OKC and win a title or two
Come to DC (his home area) and win a title or two
Other than joining the warriors,(who won before & after him)what gives you the impression KD is a championship player?
@@Browneye475 I don’t know, but I do know that if went to OKC or DC and won a title or two with them, it would greatly enhance his legacy

How many teams in how many years for Durant lol

Not for nothing but KD should be frustrated! The injuries are annoying. No fuckinn consistency. I don’t get it should he be happy that the team is injured and they are losing ? He’s averaging 30ppg with over 50 40 90 splits

You’d rather he said I’m happy we’re 14-15?
What planet am I on. He doesn’t want to leave phoenix. wth
Bradley Beal is soft and was born on injured reserve
Kd tapped out and left to his rival GS and wonders why his rings mean nothing.Dude has been on his period for the past decade
He was having periods during his GS /Brooklyn days.
at his current age calling him “premenopausal” would probably be more apropos ;)
KD got spoiled in GSW. It seems like he wants what he had in GSW or what Tatum has with the Celtics. Maybe he is realizing that he just isn’t great enough to win a championship as the best player on a team.
He deserves to go to the Pistons 😃
Made up story.
Even if true, you’d rather he said I’m happy I’m being 14-15. I love being in 11th.
So when curry was frustrated with the warriors losing did that mean he wanted out?? Kd being frustrated with the suns means he want out? Yal are clowns😂 when was that ever the case
exactly
@@gregbrown6104 i guess it's what they wanted. we'll see how it goes.

the guy hates kyrie, so he's always gonna do what he can to blame kyrie for durant's problems
@@TheRulersBack18 ah, that makes sense.
Wrong. Nets offered Kyrie basically same deal as Mavs gave him. 2 + 1
Phoenix Suns are a good team, we're only a third into the season, by the end of the season the Suns will be a threat and teams like the Magic, Wolves and OKC will get brought back to earth.
Magic yeah, but let’s see bout the other two. Sun’s won’t be healthy.
I remember flipping in the first game of the season for the suns this year. I look and see Beal and Booker in street clothes. Turned it off and haven’t watched a game all season 😂
When are Durant, Harden, or Irving not frustrated. Irrational, illogical, and petulant describes them best.
1) It's going to continue until teams start calling these guys' bluffs on their trade demands. If they make a public demand, send them home w/o pay until you can make the trade you want.
2) Players don't have the 30-40 years coaches and executives could have as a career, so they're going to seek opportunities. We've made it 10000% about "RAAAAAAAAANGZ" the last twenty years or so, so we can't act surprised when a KD goes to an established team to get his
3) Players are smarter than in the past- if you're trying to force a trade to a specific team, why wouldn't you do what you could to destroy your current team's leverage in order to make sure your next team keeps as much of their talent and pics as possible?!
And he can be strangely passive at times. Like he played the Mavs and Luka had like 30 more shots.
And what is worse, KD refuses to be the kind of leader who makes everyone around him better.. Like Barkley said, he's a bus rider, not a bus driver.
Durant wanted his own team, until he understood that he is not good enough to win as the best player on a team without an all star supporting cast. He was never the best player on the Warriors, the team had a winning record without him, he is just a more talented Scottie Pippen
he took okc to the finals and only lost to the heat lol
This was all blown out of proportion by Woj’s shady reporting
The Suns should be in the middle of the pack right now. If KD is that guy, he has enough to at least be a top 7 team right now.
HE’S THE PROBLEM
The new restrictions have already started.
Portland did well ...gave Dame a chance to really contend for a tittle and they also got some good assets out to it.
KD comes across as insufferable. He's never totally happy with any situation basketball wise.
Did you also see that kd called woj out for the lies and bs he's talking...😂

He didn’t have a father growing up and he doesn’t have kids. That’s why he’s like this.
CP3 and Shamet are far from the whole roster.
How you get traded then be mad when they traded a lot to get you. I jus don’t get it
Suns aren't doing too hot, as of today they are 10th in the western conference only a half game ahead of the warriors. Not looking great at the moment.
I think players will end up signing shorter deals
Just replace the Sun’s name and insert every team KD has played for. I don’t understand this guy and furthermore, why is he so passive in his play sometimes? He should be taking more shots.
So I guess putting together a super team is not tras easy as getting the must talented guys in one team, 😂😂😂😂
Can someone explain to me what level of sport Ryan has played in? Just curious if he has any credibility
i think he should have stayed in brooklyn for a year or two. claxton and cam thomas progression plus spence and dfs the nets would have been competive with durant for sure
KD acting very hardenish lol he just got there less than a year ago😂 cmon bro. This superstar movement is starting to get annoying
Man screw it let’s just get CP3 on the lakers just to see what that looks like
I already had my doubts about the Suns winning the West, much less getting to or even winning the Finals, mainly because of how they are currently constructed.
Has Durant ever been happy with any team he's played for? He has to be the most miserable player in the league. He refuses to see he's the problem.
Durant folding already 😂
KD just wants to hoop. There’s more to being the superstar than just hooping. Leading off the court. Motivating. Representing the organization well on social media. Press conferences.
It is just hooping. After that it depends on the players personality.
If he just wants to hoop then why does he always complain and try to get traded? He should just go out and play if that’s the case
@@dagdog7 why does anyone complain?

I’d give JDub and picks for him in a heartbeat. Get a still serviceable wing around Booker, let them rebound as a team.
Probably won’t happen, but it’d be both good basketball and hilarious
Only way to end his career is going back the Thunder and helping the young guys win a championship. He gotta right his wrongs with that move and bring it back full circle before retiring. Lebron was the most hated man in the league before he went back to Cleveland.
