    Looks great man!! I couldn't afford to get new wheels/tires after buying my Model 3 but hated how narrow the stock ones looked so I spaced them out a bit. I think a little bit lower spring would look amazing on your car.

    Those rims and tires look great on your model 3! Wish silver paint was still an option, because those dark gray rims look amazing with the silver paint! Add chrome delete and a 1" coil drop and that thing would look like a street beast!

  • @ThorRavnsborg
    @ThorRavnsborg 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Very nice look but I wouldn't do it. 18" are quieter, more comfortable, more efficient, faster 0-60 and cheaper to change tires on. Lighter wheels with higher profile tires also have the advantage that damage to rims and suspension is less likely. I personally wouldn't trade that for looks and marginally better dry road cornering abilities. In fact I'm thinking of buying a Model 3 Performance and it annoys me that the first thing I would want to do is sell the stock 20" wheels and buy aftermarket 18" ones.

    Its more metal and less rubber, you feel bumps more. Theyre also heavier so your 0-60 will probably be abit slower and itll put more strain on your axles. Theyre also going to be noiser on the highway.
    The only upside to having a bigger rim is that they look prettier and you can fit bigger breaks in them (which youre not doing so if anything it makes breaking worse from the inertia due to the heavier weight)
