I would like to address the Republic tv and some other Bengali indian as well as a UPSC YT and other YT channels who are giving their opinions based on twitter university, fix your system. I am glad i watched interviews like this. Everytime I start hating india because of its terrible Media ,i see people and channels like this who are spreading real knowledge.❤

It is now known that the US had tried to convince Sheikh Hasina to allow a US military base on a Bangladesh island. When Sheikh Hasina adamantly refused to give the US that demand then the US went the way it usually does and incited the opposition to bring about the ‘regime’ change. It’s okay to say that Bangladesh as a sovereign independent country can choose which direction to turn but the record clearly shows that friendship with the US is short term and lethal.

Whatever dictator Hasina and his son says the Indian media spread them like holy truth.. She is a pathetic liar and we are tired of her drama.. Besides, explain how the US instigated the student protest.. or how the the US convinced Hasina make terrible order to kill 1000+ innocent people and students and shut down internet for five days straight which led to her collapse?? If that's what the US wanted they could impose sanction after the fraud election and the people would overthrow the Dictator anyway 😅😅

Please get your facts right. St. Martin island is only 3sq KM in area and has no preexisting infrastructure for a base. It’s on the continental shelf and hence the water is very shallow and totally unsuitable for large vessels also the composition of the island is coral and it’s brittle in nature, there are approximately 4000 inhabitants who will have to be relocated, the topography of the island is flat and so there is no natural barrier to catastrophic hurricane that this region experience regularly. Moreover the US has multiple large bases in the region to patrol the strait of Malacca and South China Sea. Therefore all these are simply lies by Hasina

Please do not underestimate Prof, Yunus. He is just not a Nobel Laureate and all theory. He is a doer. He has implemented his theories of microcredit by establishing huge organizations - Grameen Bank, Grameen Telecom, Grameen Health, and Grameen Education. These organizations provided employment to thousands of people and benefited millions of people in rural Bangladesh. He is responsible for the emancipation of the women of Bangladesh, a very conservative Islamic country. His initiatives are being replicated in many other countries. His current initiative is "Social Business". He is promoting it all over the world. As far as his physical ability is concerned, he has taken responsibility for 27 Departments. He is 84. Now, Jamat is not acceptable to the people of Bangladesh, especially the youth. Please do not scare your people.

Politics and governance are different thing, okay let us see how he performs but his initial statements that he has made with regards to India would not go down well with ordinary Indians and also the Indian govt.
With regards to his achievements I first thought he must be some genius since he has been awarded the Nobel prize.
But then after just digging a little bit deeper found he has cases filed against him in Bangladesh but also the Norwegian Govt was not happy with him. Then saw the documentary from Investigative journalist TOM HEINEMANN on this noble soul called "THE MICRO DEBT" after which got the whole picture about him. He is just a LOAN SHARK who saw business opportunity in fleecing on innocent and poor Bangladeshis that too women by giving them loans on collaterals with high interest rates and made a fortune for himself and diversified into other areas through his DEBT TRAP. There is nothing genius in this to be awarded a Noble prize for. The Chinese too had taken a lesson or two from him and coined their DEBT TRAP DIPLOMACY.
Americans keep giving this peace and noble prize of literature to their useful idiots in order to advance the nefarious American foreign policy objectives.
He is just a stooge for the Americans popped up into picture through this Noble prize, nothing else. A pretty long term investment that the Americans had made in him which is being used now.

Because, the then congress leadership didn't have any other choice. The Greater Bengal which had a Muslim majority would have gone to Pakistan. To save at least some part of Bengal for the Hindus, Congress had to demand to divide bengal clubbing together hindu majority districts on one side and Muslim majority districts on the other side. In fact, it was Hindu Mahashava who demanded division of bengal by this religious faultline while Muslim league was demanding Full Bengal to be the part of Pakistan.

In terms of the demonstration above 3 million people in the roads of the capital, if army shooted and even instigated somehow, the huge amount of people could die when over thousands of people have been already killed by police and RAB. Unfortunately all of them analysed aggressive way and they simply explained things as if they’re representative of Hasina’s Party Awami League. And they don’t even have 20% of knowledge about Bangladesh socio economic condition. Compare to that Mr Pankaj Saran analysis is much better, liberal, and seems he knows socio-economic conditions and public pulse much better than others.
But one thing misinterpreted in the video about torture on Hindus. Sheikh Hasina ruled Bangladesh for 15 consecutive years as a dictator and her party Awami League men literally controlled and tortured opposition and mass people. Obviously people had anger on them. Some Hindu Awami League Leaders also there and after Hasina departure, all Awami League people came under attack including Majority Muslims and some Hindu Leaders. Whereas non political Hindus are safe and well, rather in most temple now guarded by mass Bangladeshi Muslim people in absence of police.
Also over 1000 people got killed in few week’s long violence in Bangladesh and 99% of them are Muslims, But the way you guys are explaining as if violence intend to Hindus only.

The killing violence is not only being done to minorities, whole countries is suffering from that! We formed squad to safeguard the houses,Mandir, mashjid, business organisation! But some how we guys always focus on one thing ! Students are managing the traffic, cleaning the road! The irregularities is seen everywhere as there is vacuum created by the absence of police force! Criminals are robbing houses at the middle of the night, vandalising. So it's not just minority who suffering..it's everyone. But at the same time common people with the students are doing a commendable job to restore stability! With the newly formed advisory panel we are everything will go back to normalcy. So stop just talking about one side.
PS: it was good and insightful interview! Thoroughly enjoyed it.and you guys earn my respect. Thank you for the interview

Has there been an engineered and structured regime change facilitated by exogenous forces ? If that was indeed the case , what will be the future thrust from those agencies ? What were their investments expected to lead to as lasting returns ? What will be their overt or covert control over the ensuing regime ? That is a critical question people are avoiding to ask since it is not evident who the possible puppeteers are . One remembers what happened post Arab Spring. So it is crucial to grasp the sort of compact that other political forces will have to enter into with the Islamist groupings whch are now international in their reach and ideological convictions. All other discussions are peripheral. This area will become a key geopolitical theater . That is our worry.

India's problem is they always predeterminently think that I Awami League is their friend. So consecutively three times a l came into power with the only support from India. India has to come out of this mindset. India has to develop a people to people relationship, Institute of a partishan relationship. It should be a Win-Win situation always. Then only it will be sustainable.
Again Bangladeshi Hindus also think that they are safe in the hand of Awami League. But this is not true. That's why they always support and do Awami League politics. So when thete is a regime change Hindus become easy target not for their religion but for their political viewpoint and allegiance.

India could have only advised behind closed doors and I am sure the India govt should have done that. As any public statements would have seriously inflamed the atmosphere especially when many Indians work there and Hindu community living there. This would also have serious implications for the Indian govt back home.

When their political party are thrown out the government, they face political vandalism. It is the reality of the both sides Awamileague and BNP supporters but Indian media and some people project it like the way of communalism. Though it is political vandalism

India has been seen to only cared about Hasina as India is hosting a leader who had committed horrif8c crimes against his own people. India to handover Hasina to be charched for crimes committed under her watch and on her own orders. Bangladesh in my believe will submit formal request to India to repatriate Hasina to be charged for crimes against humanity. Bangladesh will not ask India for a bail out but instead it will ask to handover Sheikh Hasina.

Let us hope that,in a now post -Awami League era, the powers that be could stich together, a cohesive, reliant, resilient and strong government
With due respect to Ms.Hasina, I wish she should have resigned before the 2024 elections, and handed power to her second-in-command in the league
This stratagem would not only be face-saving for her,and keep her as de jure leader

India should be friends with Bangladeshi nations interests and well being , not be friends with a criminal who destroyed the democracy in Bangladesh and committed genocide and fled .
