Literally no info on my display so thanks for letting me know there is a way to turn on back light and it has push assist! I didn't get a throttle with mine but that is in that display 🤔

Bike is set to top speed , is there a way to override this through settings or do you need an extra bit of kit? 15mph limit needs adjusting. Explanation of the menus spot on.
Robert in the controller ( not the display control)there is a shunt you can add a bit of solder to it will give a bit more power .or just change it for a better controller.
My new EBike uses a different display called a 410S, and one of the options is "OF" and it ranges from 0-10. I haven't reached out to the vendor yet but any idea what this could mean?

@@chrisdixon1191 yes At the top of the battery housing behind where the key is for the batt is the control unit. Lift it out and there is one white wire with a connection in the middle. Just unconnected this and it removes the limiter
Ive brought a brand new battery for my bike fully charged it up but the display says its only on 1 bar it wont go to four bars any ideas its a macwheel 28
My throttle setting is on, and the throttle will work when in the menus, but not when on the main screen; do you know why this might be and how to fix it?
@@ThinkingandTinkering it should be a standard setting for every ebike. Giving them a slightly more proper reason to be. I wrote some thoughts about this in a comment to the unboxing video of this bike. Thank you once again for your channel. (PS electricity for using my phone for this message comes from muscle power)
I think I'm right in saying you can't have regen on a geared motor which I think this particular bike is. Only the gearless motors will be able the charge the battery up when braking.
@@recumbentrocks2929 I'm not thinking about regen when breaking. I'm thinking that electric bikes should generally be able to be turned into (stationary?) generators.
At 7:50 he talks about the max speed setting. It comes with a Max speed of 40 kph, aka 24.8 mph. Besides that, you could try tricking the controller by telling it you have a smaller wheel size.
@@McRootbeer thx for that but he is only showing the default setting which can only be lowered... What I think is the speed controller needs to be tricked into thinking it's not going 15.5mph and therefore will continue to give electric help

The speed limit default is already set at 40........... but the motor stops at 25kmh...is there a way of delimit this for off road?

Have you tested it? Does the rear wheel actually spin up to 40 km/h when lifted on a full throttle?

To make it go faster just change wheel size to a smaller setting.

Change the speed settings does not change the max speed, I've tried but still maxes out at 15.5 mph or am I missing something

I showed how to get it up to 40kmph - that's 25mph - but I get what you mean

Isn't this the ESKUTE wayfarer ... Cheaper and more powerful for the American market
@@soft16stick70 Hi, 40 is not the default setting, its the max. 27.5 is the default or 15.5mph. i knocked mine up to 40 no problem.
