    Nice review. I like this bike a lot. I'm very tempted. Seems like a very good all round package for this market segment & won't cost crazy money either.

    Great review! Im doing my licence right now and yesterday I got a very good offer from the dealer for the 8S. I'm always happy as soon as a new video with the GSX 8S comes out to skip my waiting time untill I pass my licence exam :D Im very close to order it blind which will take apprx. 4 weeks to arrive then!

      It won't be too long until you get that licence! 4 weeks isn't too bad compared to some horror stories I've heard about waiting for new bikes. Hope all goes well and you get your new machine soon 😁

    You probably won't be surprised I'd still choose a SV650. This thing might have most of the latest mod cons but it sounds like a lawnmower. Looks good in blue though. Imagine a similar chassis with an SV engine. Mmmmmmm.

      No, not too surprised! I do wonder what it would sound like with a fruitier exhaust... impressive I suspect!

      I ride a BMWR1250R, but yes, the most sensible all round bike, for me, is an SV650. Does the job, cheaply, with no fuss, and is still fun to ride (though I confess I have only watched reviews).

      @@malcolmabram2957 Ricky and I own the Honda NT650GT Hawk/Bross (name was different for some markets). It's also a 650 V-twin with less power but also much lighter (180 kg with a full tank. These things are so much fun it's criminal. Check it out!

    Thanks Rikky, good review. More time than the test ride I had. Definitely on my list. I have just rewatched your GSX S750 review too. Still selling here for 20% less. Which would you buy? Have you ridden the Honda Hornet? Which would you pick? Thanks.

    Hey Rikky I have to say this one isn't a bike I would get off and look back at and think mmm nice ,having said that it does seem to have good performance Suzuki normally do a good engine .I will say the exhaust silencer is really tidy I like that ,maybe it would look better in black 😉good review cheers👌👍

      Hi Mal, thanks for your thoughts! The engine and performance is a highlight - I guess that it's because it's a brand new engine using the latest in design and tech. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I like the blue, stands out a bit! I hope some more colours/graphics do come along 😊

    Question: Is the quick-shifter works like an automatic gear shifter?
    Does it come with cruise control?
    Anyone? Who could answer!!!
    Thank you for your review.

      @RikkyTang  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The bike has an up/down quickshifter but you still have to change gears with your foot and you still have to use the clutch when pulling away and stopping (sometimes its better to use the clutch when changing gear too - when riding slowly for example), so it is not the same as an automatic gearbox.
      Cruise control is not an option on this bike.

    Great review but I just cant get over how this and the Hornet with quick shifters and stock exhausts all have sound tracks that sound like old computer game audio tracks.... I suspect however if either had a aftermarket exhaust fitted things would improve significantly. Until then I remain less than impressed.

      Haha yeah I get what you mean! I think Yamaha has gone the right way with holes in the fuel tank cover on the MT10 to allow more induction noise out. Unfortunately with Euro 5 and equivalent regulations bikes are only going to get quieter fresh out of the showroom

      Funny that you ask! I've ridden it and should have a review up at the weekend 👍
