This is excellent news. I wish them all the best in the coming months and years, which I sadly expect will have many other challenges to overcome. Thank you for the update and for your exposure to Eatonville's story, CBS Sunday Morning. I'm certain your coverage made a big impact.

Walter Cronkite would be very proud. THIS is what a free press, and brilliant journalism is all about.

I am so glad to hear it! I hope that they come to an agreement that is beneficial for the people who the land belong to, and they find a way to make it educationally significant as well as historically significant. Congratulations on the victory, Eatonville!

Awesome reporting! Glad this community has a chance to have autonomy over the direction of how they want to use the property.

Thanks for this update! I hope that something can be done that will preserve this important history. God forbid that DeSantis won't oppose it!

Start the drive for an April 9th National holiday - The end of the Civil War. Create a historical museum of US History of the cultural story of the treatment of slaves and the treatment of black & brown citizens and residents in America since the end of the US Civil War ….

What are you talking about? If black people are mixed in to the US, that's a good thing! And what was supposed to happen. Stop separating races! We are past all that. Get a clue. Jesus is Lord!

Redlike Jesus • Jesus lived in All- Jewish Judea & visited ALL-Samaritan Samaria. READ what he told the Samaritan woman at the well ‼️ He came, to save HIS people; however, she mentioned eating the crumbs from the table.😎

@MW Mann Who are HIS people? Everyone is made by God and in the eyes of the Lord. If you walk away that's on you. Doesn't matter your color.
