You just destroyed it. The heat sink uses liquid metal, not thermal paste. The BIG WARNING LABEL in the box was about just that.....
@@davefroman4700 In what way did he destroy it? Didn't change or damage the TIM in any way
@@Sithhy The liquid metal compound that he wiped away is far superior to ordinary thermal paste. And these unit require that extra heat transfer capacity of the liquid metal, to keep from overheating in that tiny enclosure. And you cannot just buy it on a shelf somewhere.
Thank you for these videos Matt!
Always nice to see when you upload, thanks for the vid cheers ❤
I'd love to pick up one of these things, they seem like a great option for a low power emergency backup pc or even small home server.
Love your videos man. Especially your builds. Hope you do a $1000 summer 2023 build, cuz with the current AMD GPU prices and the relatively low cost of DDR5 RAM and motherboards, I think there are some exciting options out there. Thanks for all your work!
Pretty decent!! like you said makes perfect sense for office work and light gaming.
Dota 2 1440p? Should be running just fine, right? Even with lowered Max tdp even? (to lower the fan noise)
The 680m with faster ddr5 with tighter timings and uncapped and allowing it to draw upto 80watt should net u 60fps running cyberpunk at 1080p low with fsr set to quality
Kinguin is still around, they were one of the first online Windows key retailers 👍
Would like to see that comes with 780M igpu get to this price asap since gmktec 6800H is already selling for $330
if the front usbc is usb4 it should support display port MST so you should be able to connect 4 monitors, two via native HDMI on the back and two by using daisy chaining or a laptop port replicator, could you check it?
Hi, I'm looking to buy this badass. My only concern is, would I be able to pair it with a 144hz monitor and run it? Nice review as always!
it supports 8k so yeah...
Try holo iso. System wide fsr and much tighter controls with power delivery and efficiency.
[Sorry in advance for my not so good english] You installed 2.5" sata drive wrong (see at the 8:03 and further, the best picture is 8:12). Look, the cover has wide hooks at three sides. And narrow hooks at one side, which goes to the rear, where USB, HDMI and other ports are.
If you align the cover correctly, then sata cable will be too short to reach the sata port on MB (sata plug will be at the side where memory is).
If you turn the cover 180 degrees for sata cable to reach the port, then hooks do not click in place and the cover does not fit tightly.
So you have to install sata drive with interface side the other way. That's strange because vendor even made kind of indentation in the metal cover the size and form of sata plug. But no! Correct position of sata plug would be 180 degrees from that place. I can not understand their logic, really, it's quite misleading. But that's how it has to be installed.
I know because I tried to install 2.5 sata hdd in addition to the main nvme ssd and struggled for some time :D
5:00 why don't they just make the feet with holes for the screwed? Yeah you can cut the holes yourself pretty easily but still
hey Matt can you put a link to the radio sleeper playlist
im getting the same one except it has 1tb of pcle ssd and 32gb of ram ddr5
update i got 1tb of ssd 2.5tb hdd 32gb ddr4
@@Ghust-_- How's the PC bro?
More ITX content from Tech Tubers plz
/what monitor would u reccomend pairing this with
anything that supports at least 720p up to 8K
Can I buy and and plug in an egpu Into this thing?
You would need an m.2 to oculink adapter and a power supply, plus install windows in a sata drive. The usb4 for what I’ve seen doesn’t support egpu . Look for eta prime videos.
Cheap on Newegg. Almost $800 USD on amazon. 😢
Can I play Alan Wake on this? Want to get one for work and use on my free time
Is it wifi wireless no ethernet or any of that needed
dude at least watch 4 minutes of the video instead of just reading the title
I wonder how this PC would handle emulation?

Definitely lol
Would be dope with DDR5
It does use DDR5
AMD! :)
On future videos if a game can't lock at 60fps at 1080p low can you also run a test at 720P or even 900P? It would be helpful to many people who want 60fps but don't care too much about the settings.
