- Some days are harder (longer) than others for sure! Today it was hard to leave Bangalore, not only because of the insane traffic! I had a great time, made new friends and surely did a great test ride on the ultraviolette f77 (watch that video;)). Heading towards kerala. Long ride and again I am not allowed on the Highway, sucks a little but the charging station i found in coorg is definitely a pleasant surprise and I also found out why my orange lit has to be my lucky helmet here in India 🇮🇳

You’re now a true Indian when you’re trying to skip the speed bump by going in the side . 😝10:06
Just like everyone on a motorcycle does everywhere in the world where there are speed bumps...
It's a universal thing on a bike. Needlessly trying to make it about India?
This may help you in future commutes
NE is National Expressways(mostly they don't allow Bikes, some do)
NH is National Highways(Allows bikes)
SH is state highways(allows literally everything including animals)
So check the Google Maps beforehand
Sometime back it was legal for 350cc + bikes to enter Expressway on 80 kmph lane. Now its completely illegal.
NH allows cattles as well 😂.
@@virajvrooms Most of them come to road by accident from open fields and govt is trying to barricade the highways in many places but I've literally seen herders with 100s of sheeps/goats roaming on State Highways and in this video as well
@@harshitneema7862 Bikers in our nation are a unique breed, They'll do everything to create problem for themselves and get banned from the roads. Lucknow expressway allows bikes and you'll see many youtubers hyperiding there at 300kmph of speeds just for some extra views and many of them have also lost their lives there. So don't be surprised if government bans high power 2 wheelers on Lucknow expressway as well
@@ksh19 Naah. I have come across farmers grazing their cattles on the lush green dividers of NH4 🤣.
You are touring multiple nations on EV and people near me are scared to buy EV for radius area within 30-50 km.
Respect for your spirit
Hehe yeah people are weird like that 🤪 electricity ⚡️ is literally everywhere 🙌🏼
Same! So many people argue about charging times and stuff. Some people just need a forced break to appreciate life again I guess!
he has a pretty good range and performace in his ev tho, he doesnt have a reason to complain, in india if i buy a motorcycle i want it to go wherever i want it to go without making me wait for 8 hours ever 150km
Haha that's coz of lack in charging points
There's a little reluctance in buying EVs because people don't know if they're gonna find a charging station if necessary, they don't know if the government is gonna raise the tarriffs on electricity in the future.
However I'm gonna buy an electric scooter this year.😊
1. The color is Saffron, not orange or yellow
2. It represents one of the 5 elements i.e. Fire (other being earth, water, space and air)
3. Fire is the purest of all the elements since fire purifies everything and in turn nothing can make fire impure. (unlike air or water etc)
4. Its the color of someone seeking "god" a.k.a Truth a.k.a Ultimate reality since one has to make oneself Pure to succeed in that quest.
5. Hence its also the color of sacrifice and integrity and Truth.
6. Fire is also the "Brahmin" among the other elements and is the "Priest" among the Higher beings (devas) or "demi Gods". He is called "Agni" which is the root word for "Ignis" (Latin for fire) (ignition etc)
7. All offering is made to Agni i.e. Fire in a Yajna. (mistranslated as "sacrifice") and the Fire transports it to the Higher beings i.e. Devas.
8. This is why ALL Monks, Saints etc. in Buddhism and Hinduism wear Saffron robes.
Now you Know.
Thank you so much 😊

22:19 hey marc, it's very nice to see your vlogs and seeing the roads I used to ride on.
A small tip: I would definitely not recommend overtaking large vehicles like a bus, etc on a curved road as you don't know if there is a vehicle coming from the other side.
Only when the road gets more straight, go for it.
Safe travels!
Kudos to your skills , you've learnt to ride like the situation around you. Congratulations and good luck
Thank you!
Majority of Indian bikes are of less weight due to low cc bikes, hence when speed moving bus or car in 80-100kmph passes the lower cc bikes in expressway, the bus will pull the bike side towards it due to pressure difference, which may cause accident. Due to this in many expressways bikes aren't allowed.
Alright thanks🤙🏼

You should have stayed in Zostel in Coorg. They are lots of hostels in all the small hill stations in southern India. Hosteller and Zostel are 2 of the hostel brands. The locations are also quite good on the outskirts of the town.
Phase 1: pessimistic about India.
Phase 2: slowly understands India.
Phase 3: moved and settled in India cause now you are in love.
I can bet, you will love to call Goa your home if you make up your to live in India.
Goa is hyped up too much. Southern part of India is a peninsula so very long coastline. Somewhere between Goa and Mangalore near Udupi would be awesome.
@@alokm1233318 I am not saying any place to be absolute best, but it’s this hyped up Goa, that Marc is in love with. Probably, all the people he met there and the days he spent during new year made him biased towards Goa.

Man a Super Helpful Suggestion - Turn Off Regen as it will stop the friction from Motor thus making the vehicle coast freely . As regen slows the Vehicle down and then we have to Give throttle to maintain speed then it consumes power more. Regen is only useful if you come down from a steep Hill often.
Conclusion - More Range , less load on Motor Controller and Less Heat from Motor only issue is Brake Pads wont last longer.
My way worked quite good the last 40.000km and I am used to driving with regen now, i don’t wanna miss it anymore. It’s not making any difference
@@MarcTravels i dont wanna argue but i have 2 EV's in my House Ola S1 Pro and Bajaj Chetak EV , and had Ather 450X gen 2 before Ola . I have tested all regen settings and have also read many forums and personal videos of EV Owners , that's why i am confident on regen topic.
@@rajatverma360how many km difference on yours? Anyway, I’m rarely riding the same road twice so, true I can’t really be a good reference on that topic i suppose. Let me know what you found out mate 🤙🏼
@avels When Regen is on Medium settings on Ola S1 pro i get Range close to 110 -120 Km approx.. , on low everytime i get 130 - 140 ish KM and Now after new Update Regen can be turned off so i can easily exract around 140 - 155 KM Range on Single Charge. Ola S1 Pro (Top Model) has 4KW Battery and i have extracted 167 KM of Range one time on a Single Charge in Low Regen Setting and on 35-45 Kmph speed.

India is one of the hardest places to travel especially for those who are used to lower people density, order and cleanliness. I am one of those and I struggle quite a bit in India. Traffic and urban planning is pretty non-existent that cities are cumbersome to navigate and plain difficult to walk around.
It's def not a place for super strict ppl. I went to Thailand, vietnam & was astonished as how similar the driving way & traffic was compared to India. Ig it's an Asian thing.
Also India's popln makes the roads & traffic 10× hectic compared to other Asian countries.
