    I like your channel, but I like engineering more. Unfortunately the information shown here is absolutely wrong. Meshing is incorrect, the loads are incorrect and the constraint is also incorrect.

      I was wondering about why he used mm in the load properties... I am struggling with that currently.

    please you could explain how you work in the pressure you place and the formula of the coordinates?

    Hi Gents, I need your help, I am trying to get this SolidWorks Pipe Routing Training, is there any specific name for it other than Pipe Routing, any institute in India you know provide this training for Pipe Routing? so many institutes have full Solidworks which I am not interested in I need only Piping, Vessels and Flow Simulation, Please any advice, thanks.

    Cool Vid..spend a little long on the modelling of basically a crazy simple shape..cool vid though

    How can I simulate a semi-trailer air suspension bag?

    First of all, I must apologize to the uploader - I'm not trying to make you look bad. However, I am afraid that the method shown in the video here is incorrect.
    To only point out the error during the step when the "pressure" was assigned, the script in the dialog box that pops up after hitting "Edit Equation" clearly says that the value you're getting is a force value, not pressure. There are other ways to prove this too, but be warned, do not use the method shown in this video to assign pressure, or else you'll be wasting a lot of time fixing your simulation issue (like I did ), or you'll probably end up with a lawsuit against you regarding people getting injured due to improper tank design.

      yeah, also when the geometry is curve, you have to check the option, curvature based mesh for a quality mesh.

      Thank you for pointing the mistake. However the uploader not seen this.

    thx , but 9,81*1000 why?

    • @javier8691
      @javier8691 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry ; If I wanted to work with the distributed pressure I would have to put pressure in 1N / m2 and in the equation 0 * x + 1000 * 9.81 * and + 0 * z?

      I think this guy is doing it wrong

  • @moshk6460
    @moshk6460 ปีที่แล้ว

    your analysis is incorrect... the formula is kg/m * m/s2 * m(h) and you need to apply a pressure not a force

    E' sbagliato come tutti i video su internet che spiegano questo esercizio va calcolato il volume del fluido il suo peso etc etc... e poi distribuito , l equazione è corretta ma il valore della forza NO.

    Don't use this method I've compared results from solidworks and Ansys solution there is a drastic difference

      because the method is wrong, he should give pressure load not force
