Don't know if it still works, but I have been able to place observers directly in the lotus pool. The vision wasn't restricted and it is pretty much impossible for melee heroes to hit it.
one thing you potentially missed is that for some of the trees, the enemy can't see that they are cut unless they have highground vision. The radiant bottom t2 ward is an especially good example of this because even if they have an obs on the cliff to the right of it, they don't see the leftmost tree being cut due to the other trees blocking the observer's vision to it. Northwest of the dire T1 mid tower there is a hidden ward spot which actually has an icon for a ward spot. Lotus pool wards are effective against melee heroes
seems like a common theme is "no spot is impossible to deward, but every extra hurdle the enemy has to clear for a deward means better odds it survives longer"
so i've been playing dota for a little while now, but only bot games. I can easily win hard bots, but I tried going vs real players in the unranked normal mode and get destroyed. Is there a best mode to learn vs real people that is more geared towards noobs? I am playing support mostly. Thanks!
@@bsj8302 yeah, ive been playing a lot of turbo games.. not quite real games, but also not bots so i think it's a good medium. I'm learning more about the game, and just how to play against humans in general.
Is it just me or they removed the blocking spot between the trees on the Radiant offlane hard camp at 02:06? I can't block that camp by planting the ward on the clump of trees on the right side of the camp anymore. When I play as 5 in Dire and I want to ward to scout for rotations coming from the jungle, I either put the obs in the stairs area near the river or just beside the trees near the lane, above the radiant offlane hard camp. so far, that ward spot that i used never gets dewarded.

Yup, looks like it was removed. It was honestly too powerful, so it's probably fair
@@ZQuixotix i agree with that. If the enemies in the lane are all melee, it just requires so much to get dewarded.
What happens if you cut a tree and place a ward right where the tree was. What happens when the tree respawns?
The ward will block the tree from spawning. After the ward dies, the tree will instantly grow (assuming the respawn time has passed)
