I loved this moment. Through out the story, Vito expresses his anger towards his ‘deadbeat father’ for how he was an alcoholic who didn’t do more for his family but once it’s revealed that his father was actually murdered by Steve, a new found level of sympathy and duty emerges in Vito where he knows he has to kill Derek and Steve, even though he knows that in doing so, he’ll probably get whacked by the commission. It shows that Vito will always put family and friends first, no matter what.
The tragedy of Vito is that he wanted a lot of life and ended up losing it all. He also believed in "honor amongst thieves" in a place where there is no such thing, lampshaded by Carlo Falcone.
I can’t understand how but I had a dream yesterday about me being a Michael in gta 5, in a shootout with this music, even if I played mafia a long time ago, my brain perfectly played this track in my dream.
