Without question, the "Hit Of The Week" award for this episode goes to Saw Loser against Zero Gravitas, who experienced zero gravity for a moment and was left feeling SAW from the pain. Good to see Alex Mordue back on screen by the way.
What a bloody heat! Best one so far imo. That final was awesome. So good to see Alex back behind a controller again. Also find it funny how Sarah's hair changes every interview haha.
It's awesome to see the man from Team Firestorm take part once more. Could it be that we might get to see the new incarnation of Firestorm in the near-future?
Very explosive heat, dying to watch the grand final now. Anxt was pretty much a German baby Thor, although Anxt was more scarier, hate to see the full size version if ever one was made...
When I saw Pinwheel's weakness, I just flat out *knew* that it wasn't going far. A Horizontal Bar Spinner (or *any* spinner) needs a reliable Drive system.
I was (and still will be) rooting for Saw Loser because I was thinking of making a robot similar to it. I think, however, that Saw Loser's design is better than what mine would have been.
ObsidianMadman I think its biggest threat is Drizzle, because I think, should it be working and not catching its blade on itself, Drizzle could just obliterate the weapon motor housing on Saw Loser.
I think the UK/Euro and US beetleweight scenes are quite separate, which means there may be some shared names, but it's not done for any nefarious reason. Hopefully series like this can make that gap a little closer, it was great to see Captain Doom coming over for this event for example.
Bloody fantastic episode! My boy DSC did his best with Sir Lance A Frog and I'm looking forward to seeing it again in the 10 bot rumble! Honestly don't mind who wins the final spot into the Grand Final, all are marvelous machines! I'm excited!

Really enjoyed this episode and it ended with a really good heat final between two robots beating the s**t out of each other, looking forward to next weeks grand final and hopefully soon they'll be a web series with one of the heavyweight events and using this style of production. Also will there be any side tournaments after the main competition.
Saw Loser reminds me of Whiplash a lot but with a truly destructive weapon, Alex still one of the best drivers around. Very impressed with the durability of K2 they could easily win the whole thing.
if these videos where ran at 75% speed with at least 120 fps or more, the feeling of weight and destruction would match there full sized brother. making it much more fun to watch.
Final heat before the finale, hope a wedge it doesn’t win, since two have already gone through while two spinners got through, (undercutter and washybrain spinners)
Brilliant stuff! Really enjoying it! Bugglebots international, eh? Some neat robot designs and great build-quality. Definitely a good idea to choose this weight category; high-class small bots are far more entertaining than mediocre heavyweights. And finally: Oi, Tim? No. All right, mate? Just... no. ;-)
Capping the RPMs wouldnt do anything as people would just build larger discs to compensate. Its the first season, and many didnt have much build time - these things will improve.

It's really good to see that the king of the front hinged flipper is back, albeit with a spinner, but damn he is still as good as he was in 2003.
