Wood Spirit Tutorial - Chainsaw Carving Class

Hello again! In today's tutorial we are making a wood spirit out of cedar. I have always enjoyed carving wood spirits just because you never know what they are going to look like. It is a longer video, but I felt it was necessary to show as much as possible to give the audience a good grasp on how to carve one. Chainsaws and other power tools will be used. That Cedar looks like it carves easy. Not much Cedar in NY where i live.

I found a guy in my area that has a small sawmill as his second job. And I always keep a eye out for trees down and look on the facebook for free logs.
