Another great video, the reference of comparing your singing to the penguins was hysterical. Those birds that were chasing your drone away were very persistent. When one couldn't do the job, it brought in reinforcements. The meal looked really good. Funny they asked about reservation since the place seemed empty.
Noraly, didn't think the U-turn would be before the winter / summer (south) solstice on Dec.21. To slow down travels in the future, have Dhanno pull a small anchor.
I know it is a lot of effort but the drone videos give such a different perspective to the landscapes you travel through. Enjoy all your videos but the drone footage just takes it to another level.
@@quackgarage9551 in English, they are called Lapwings. In India we call them Tithari because they make loud tit-tit-tit-TIT calls and make divebombing attacks to protect their eggs..
@Robert Niewenhuis i jumped with joy when i had first spotted their eggs and ever since i look for them when i see the birds sitting quietly in a spot because there isn't a nest. They just hide it amongst the rubble. Pretty nice tradition if people left the eggs alone after spotting them. Unless the birds have a tendency to abandon/destroy the eggs after seeing that they aren't a secret anymore? Some species react that way, I think.
Love the attack of the Southern Lapwings. There was a gold rush in Tierra del Fuego in the last 20 years of the 19th century. There are lots of rusty old dredgers and other mining equipment abandoned from the same period in the Colorado Rockies where I live. Great video.

It was so nice to see your drone making friends with the local birds.
I am so jealous, but thank you for sharing your incredible videos with us! Amazing to see the penguins!!
Good night Nhoralyn!
Tell the receptionist to turn off the heating; otherwise you will fall ill with the temperature difference.
Adelante Noraly, adelante!

Howdy IB! Hola and welcome to Chile! Way down there now and soon to get colder! Saddle up and ride (or ski on)!❤
Yes, I can see why they need a logging station, with all those trees.
Love your videos. Thanks for the close-up view of the Emporer penguins

Hey Noraly, the Emperor penguins were really the highlight of this video. Didn't know this kind of the penguin existed until you showed them.
Very nice video - nice drone footage and editing. :)
I think that was an beautyful Day ... and sooo stunning Colors of this Area, an absolute amazing Point of the Earth 😊
A never ending road through isolated stretches, a lone girl on a bike, and of course with a horse by the name Dhanno!!
Interesting the birds that were curious about the drone. Glad they didn't attack it. Beautiful scenery. Gotta go there some time. My dream has always been to sail a boat there. Someday perhaps. Maybe I'll buy that adventure bike you have me considering and I'll follow in your foot steps.
"My boots make some lovely noise" ~ Itchy Boots
Another great video, the reference of comparing your singing to the penguins was hysterical. Those birds that were chasing your drone away were very persistent. When one couldn't do the job, it brought in reinforcements. The meal looked really good. Funny they asked about reservation since the place seemed empty.
Noraly "oh foxes" Foxes: " Hey everyone, Itchy boots is here"
Noraly, didn't think the U-turn would be before the winter / summer (south) solstice on Dec.21. To slow down travels in the future, have Dhanno pull a small anchor.
It looks like those Birds want to play with the drone. 😀😀😀
I know it is a lot of effort but the drone videos give such a different perspective to the landscapes you travel through. Enjoy all your videos but the drone footage just takes it to another level.
The birds not liking the drone was a cool shot.
Those are Quero-Quero's, pretty common over Argentina, all of Pampas and Southern/Central Brazil. Also known as "mini goose", hehe :)
Esos son teros de seguro el dron estaba cerca de sus nidos y estaban protegiendolo .te atacan lindos los pajaros!!
@@quackgarage9551 I was wondering what those birds were that were awfully interested in the drone. Thanks for the information!
Wow, what a luxuriant breakfast!
Nice to see the penguins...thanks for showing !
