- The Morning Footy crew play a new game called "Pick Up or Ghost." The idea is, if a player called Mauricio Pochettino to be included in the upcoming November USMNT camp... should Poch "Pick-Up or Ghost." Players discussed are Brenden Aaronson, Yunus Musah, Brandon Vázquez, Gianluca Busio, Tanner Tessmann.

I forgot the defeat against Mexico as an USA Fan. We will come back stronger and stronger and We will fix the problems of Our Team USA. I trust Dear Poch and Our Beautiful USA Men Team.🤗🥰😍🇺🇲🔥🙏✝️
I just hope Mckenie & Weah come back soon 🙏🙏 this guys are the true real starts of the USNMT 🇺🇸🇺🇸
The moment he had the ball and had the chance to go 1v1 with old man guardado, and passed it back; that’s when I knew he wasn’t comfortable playing on the wing. There was no way guardado would even sniff him but he passed back.
Tessman is solid. He plays calm and composed. he is the future of USMNT midfield
Pochettino is learning eye opening information from the two matches against Panama 🇵🇦 and Mexico 🇲🇽, with the mindset of Players, the many players who are injured, those that went back to their clubs in Europe, without a good deep roster like most Countries, etc 😳🤔
This last window Brendan's play reminded me of the sebastian lletgets last call up
Aaronson is a one trick pony. All he knows how to do is run fast and chase the ball. The opposing teams are already aware of this and have adjusted their tactics. So he becomes useless to the team.
He’s basically the new ariola or Roldan and he’s miles better then them lol
@@arsenalmike1835 Not really. I think Roldan at least knew how to pass the ball around
When was Lleget's last call up?
Brendan should take a seat lol
How tf is Sargent not up for this segment, he’s a 100% GHOST
I won’t blame him for the Mexico game because he had no service at all from the midfield, but his performance against Panama was lacking. That was his chance to make a good impression on Poch with Balogun out, and he squandered it.
@@michaelstein7510 he hasnt had service for 5 years it seems. Hes forgettable.
@@andysvt8 Sargent needs to be dropped from the national team. He hasn't scored a goal in years. He's just wasting a roster spot.
I hope Pochettino is looking at Younger players, no matter the Leagues , as to me some of the players, has shown when it time to shine they come up short 😳🤔
Hate that Sargent wasn't able to produce. So much talent but couldn't take advantage of this window
I dont want brandon energy which can be knock down every time👈
you gotta ghost tf out of Morris.
Josh Sergeant was not talked up by the Footy Crew! The last time Josh Sergeant scored a goal for the USMNT in 2019. I would ghost Josh Sergeant and Brandon Aaronson. Brandon lacks physicality to play in international Concacaf tournaments.
With no Balogun, Josh probably comes back in next month regardless.

Do your homework, Footy Crew! Although I enjoy drinking mate, I would prefer that you stick to the facts and present a slide to each audience member. Brandon Aarons, for example, lacked physicality and lost position at a rate of 20 per game. Sergeant hasn't scored for the USMNT since 2019 and is prone to injuries.
I don't understand why people are choosing Busio over Tessman. They were teammates and both the team and the surrounding leagues thought more highly of Tessman.
And maybe they were wrong or Busio has just showed his value more at this moment.
Busio has a good bit of technical skill, but I agree that Tessman has a higher ceiling in terms of what he can contribute to the national team. I think he could potentially convert to be a good center back, as well.
@@nickvincent8760 Sure they might be, but I'm not sure why we'd be under the assumption we know more about it than they do.
Yeah because they get enamored by his size, but I saw Busio win tough headers and 50/50
Sergent....bigger is not better. Put in Logan Farrington...just give him one game ~30minutes. You will see
Aaronson is one of the better options we got, we are not spain we don't have a lot of options in the midfield. He's useful off the bench
Why are we talking about Liga MX like its a good league? Vazquez needs to leave MLS/MX for it to show anything.
Siempre están jugando como invadidos No se ve la mano de pochetino Nos va pasar igual a México. Con el tata martini
Brenden Aaronson’s career has gone stale. He wasn’t good at Leeds United when they were in the Prem. He wasn’t particularly good at Union Berlin and he’s alright 2nd go with Leeds in the Championship.
His level is clearly Austrian Bundesliga. Thus far, based off what everyone has seen so far.
I agree. We need to move on from him. Maybe someone like Diego Luna can work as a 10
I think his level is above that league but definitely not fit to play in PL. he did better in the second half of the union Berlin stint. Maybe Bundesliga/ligue1 or Dutch league
I think he should join his brother at Eredivisie
Pick up b.a.
Pundits show they have favorite regardless of form, ghosting Aaronson who nobody tries harder than but picking up the ghost himself Musah is laughable he was so bad Poch yanked him at halftime
Bro he is trash. All hustle no skill
@@albertmoreno6408 what did Musah show better than Aarson though?
@@Juanitojk I think poorly about both
@@albertmoreno6408 that was mainly the point I was trying to make could care less if either gets called up in November but these folks on TV acting like Musah was better than Arronsen because they have favorites
Mexico has more fans than usa when the playing at home and away. Usa fans lack football .😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Brendon Aaronson should never be part of the US national team ever again. This kid is all hustle no game. He has been playing in Europe but has not improved at all. Average at best. Including his brother.
Hyperbole
@@stevenreyna3437 not at all hyperbole! This kid has not improved one bit since playing in Europe. I give him credit for out running and hustling the opponent but the bottom line it doesn't help the team's attack. Plus he gets out muscles and pushed down to the ground all the time. He's average at best.
Yeah, he's basically a slightly better version of Paul Arriola. All he does is run around a lot. I don't think I've ever seen him do anything that stands out.
@@nerychristian I agree. That’s why Brendon shouldn’t be called to the US national team anymore. Everyone saw what he brings to the table and it is not much.
@@elifut79 Sargent is also useless. He should either be tried in a different position, like a winger, or dropped from the team
