    I have one and it sounds much more like tape delay than analog to me. Pretty good delay especially for the money.

    Great demo. It makes a difference when you're trying to get better at your playing, if you have the right sounds. Practicing everything clean gets boring when you want to sound like your favorite guitarists! If tou have the tone and the effects, I think it'll inspire you to play more and eventually get better and better!

    I love this pedal.
    With all three dials at 11 o'clock I get great Gilmour or Trower tones.
    With all three dials at 9 o'clock I get a little extra fatness that's great for almost any song.

    I've heard nothing but positive things about this pedal and I'm really looking forward to getting one. After this video I can definitely see why it's getting such good reviews. This thing doesn't take up a ton of board space and best of all it doesn't rip a gaping hole in your bank account like lots of pedals do.
    I ordered one just a few moments ago and I really hope that it's as good as the one featured in this video. If it is, I will be a very, very happy man.

      I got one that, when I engage it, makes a giant POP! Additionally the button itself is not very quiet. I think i got a defect because I kind of hate mine. Love the sound though its ethereal when paired with a slide.

  • @RobCmusic

    It's a digital delay that has a pretty analog sound. I think this is a copy of the Mooer Echolizer. I have this pedal and I like it, it's noticeably lower in build quality than the Mooer pedals as the lettering started to rub off after a very short while, but it sounds good and works well on my pedal board.
    For the money it's well worth it as a dependable delay. It does a great job of doing those reggae/dub type delays when I play with my band. Very good value for money.= IMO.

    • @RobCmusic
      @RobCmusic 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      UPDATE: I got this delay pedal when they first came out. Since then they have improved the build quality and finish. Now the lettering doesn't rub off with a swipe of the thumb as it did on the first one I bought and the finish now is much prettier and resilient to chips. The price hasn't changed either, so a winner from Donner!

    I love gear reviews but I think all the channels have to be more transparent about what happens to the gear when finished. To say the company gave it to me to "test out*implies it's being returned and considering if I buy anything off Amazon and return it is never sent back to the company so I think its safe to assume it's another freebie.

      +Gamingnight You can plug anything into it, and it'll echo it. They pedal doesn't know what's plugged into it, it just effects the signal. However, your microphone will become hi-impedance if you plug into the pedal because it's 1/4" inputs instead of XLR, but it would put the effect on the microphone yes.

      It won't sound _exactly_ like a reverb, but will instead give you a much less muddy sound - it's often favoured by people in bands for this purpose as it stands out in the mix much more. If you want to get a more reverby sound use it with a short delay time.

    Good demo but definitely doesn't sound analogue

    It'd be a lot cooler if the pedal actually worked
