I so needed a TPP video with backyard paradise of the dolphins, sunshine, happy leaves, and Turbo time. I swear my state has a case of the blah's with the weather we're having it was so nice to see Sun and the wild outdoors again. Breaks over now I go back to cookie making lol. Have fun everybody!!! 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Irrelevant but I FINALLY put the tree up and the lights on it, it was a pre-lit tree but they didn’t last long even being a Balsam Hills tree 🥺now all I have to do is decorate it. 🤗❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃
Speaking of my plant room / laundry room I’m STILL trying to figure out where to store stuff 🤔 I’m hoping that I can get everything wrapped up by tomorrow when hubby and daughter come home. 🤞🏻 ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃
True as a houseplantie person the chic's were crazy to find one of those for a bit hence all of the sudden the crazy prices. My nephew collects anything with the sting-ray's on it so I wanted to get him a Sting-ray plant and could not believe how much they were for like no reason lol. 🐟🐠🐡🐠🐟🐡
I never made it to the nursery- garden center to see if they have any new arrivals maybe tomorrow since hubby and daughter won’t be getting home until around 1am. 🤞🏻but then again I like to plan my trips into town for more than one stop. Oh well we will see if I get to be a new plant momma or not . ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃
Hi Jeff 👋 That Blizzard is beautiful 😍 and the Stingray is so cool. HOLY COW that Borneo is off the charts HUGE!! FANTASTIC!! Thank you for sharing this with us. I've only had the plain Elephant Ear (Coloc or Aloc??) Which spread ridiculously here zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast, and I tried the Wikiki Colocasia, which I got as a bitty (plug?) And as you know I struggled with it and it ended up dying 😕. Do you find a difference in Alocasias vs. Colocasias as to one is easier to grow than another? Or does it just depend on which variety in each genius? 🤔 You take good care of yourself and we'll see you Saturday. 😊💜
Love the white one. I feel like California would be too harsh for it. I have my elephant ears on the north side of the house. They thrive there but the afternoon sun is intense on them. If I could protect it more by planting on the east side it might make it with no issues. On another note, how far away from your house are those bananas? I want to move my banana to be with my elephant ears but I'm worried it would be too close to the house. Do you prune the leaves so they're not going towards the house? Love this short video.
I give up with Alocasia. I have my little variegated Bambino that is still alive, all the rest ☠. Also, Orange Lake Nursery has Philo atabapoense and they are on sale right now. Although winter not the best time to order.
Thank you Jeff, be safe , stay healthy and we’ll see you next time. ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃
Hi Jeff! So happy to watch while I do some spring cleaning. I always have a little extra energy when it’s cold outside.
The alocasias are stunning beautiful plants. Thanks for all the information, very helpful.

I did manage to get my humidity up to around 30%, I got my humidifier going in the “ plant room “ aka laundry room. 🤗 ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

I THINK because the houseplant community became more aware of the stingray they became a VERY hot item? ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

Nice selection. Do you recommend a couple of online sites to purchase these from

Love the lutea's but never see them here for some reason. Love my regal shields though.
