I Had a privilege to visit this place in person, and what inspirational setting! From home furnishings to rose gardens, I have to say that this is one of my favorite houses. Excellent restoration and care has been poured into this place. My gratitude expressed to Sir Joseph Pell Lombardi and his foundation for preserving this place. it is nice to know that future generations will have an opportunity to learn from its architecture.
Your home is a treat to see. So beautiful and different in the best sense of the words. The world owes you a debt of gratitude for taking on your "labor of love".
Thank you! You have done a magnificent job. There is a special place in heaven for folks like you for doing such wonderful work and doing it well while knowing full well that you are but a caretaker. Future generations will be able to see how well to do Victorians lived because of your efforts. Blessed Be!
You look just like your beautiful mother Rose It was an honor taking care of her in her last days of life Happy to see you in your success Father Joe and Mom Rose would be proud Wish you would have been there for them They missed you!
I've enjoyed viewing Mr. Lombardi's website. It's hard to believe, but this home is even more impressive in the video. The first time I saw the place was in a low budget horror flick whose name I can't even recall, but I've been fascinated by it ever since. It's just beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
I designed an octagon house in drafting class in high school which id taken from crossing a lutheran church in wichita with the vertical cross section of a wichita jr high school with the top 2 floors underneath about a 36 degree diagonal roof layer cake shape on the floors with the windows in the ceiling. Thought it was interesting this man also derived his idea from either a temple or a mosque religion related. I think octagon churches were common in europe. I had an octagon shaped room on the top floor with mirrors on the 8 walls. Anyway the point im trying to make what i like about this show its good for dreamin when you dont have any money. I also wonder if its possible to take some different materials that are far cheaper and incorporate them into your own smaller house and make them look similar to these 250 million dollar mansions.
Mr. Lombardi, you are a wonder. I adore the work you have done here, restoring the house. I truly admire your devotion come obsession.
Joseph Lombardi is the best of all the rest. Such a wonderful accomplishment, with so much love and devotion. A treasure.

I could just die to live in such a beautiful house! 😍🤩🤯
I ran across this on a steam punk web site. This house is an absolute marvel!
NOTHING BETTER!!!!!!!!
Bravo!
Also i forgot to say i like the observation deck on the top floor. 8 different views instead of 4.
Absolutely lovely house, but it's not the only one, there is an octagon house in Watertown WI.
I believe that that they meant ,this is the only "domed" octagon house.

Lovely home but is that place air-conditioned???? I didn’t see 1 vent and with all the wood the creaking in the warmer months would drive me insane. 🤔
"The Nesting" movie house
