The West African Talking Drum

We have had the honor or working with some fantastic artists of the North, sharing their knowledge and talents with us!.
Dr. Joseph Atoyebi is half Yoruba and half Igbo. To the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, the West African talking drum is a family of four drums, used for various means of communication.
Dr. Atoyebi speaks eight languages and plays and his talking drums every week with his Nigerian and Ghanaian church friends. here he shares his passion for and knowledge of this beautiful instrument with Mall of the Arts.
