They've survived various world ending events including supernovas and beat Bowser in a domain he had reality warping control over. Their optimized equipment is on another level, leading to complete damage negation even if they miss their dodge inputs.

If this was a mod that made Sephiroth appear after Elder Princess Shroob or instead of her, it would make this finale 2000% better. Funny story though, if this happened, the impact would only hit years later. As a kid I got an old Partners in Time game with a file that was already at Shroob Castle. The end of it. So I could basically fight the final boss whenever I wanted. Many years later, I would play FF7, then soon after, Partners in Time again. If this actually happened, I would have anxiety from FF7 when replaying. Which I'm fine with, One Winged Angel is amazing.
OMG, this is such a crazy coincidence, but *_I also got a pre-owned copy of Partners In Time as a kid with a save file right before the final boss!_* And the weirdest part about it was that to this day, *I have no clue how the previous owner could have gotten to that point,* and here's why. If I remember correctly, all of the Bros. on that save file were like Level 27 or 29 or something. When I got to that point during _my own playthrough,_ I was a little over Level 40 with all of the Bros., and I still had trouble with the final boss battle. *So it just astounds me that someone could have gotten that far in the game while avoiding* *_so many battles._*

They've survived various world ending events including supernovas and beat Bowser in a domain he had reality warping control over.
Their optimized equipment is on another level, leading to complete damage negation even if they miss their dodge inputs.

If this was a mod that made Sephiroth appear after Elder Princess Shroob or instead of her, it would make this finale 2000% better.
Funny story though, if this happened, the impact would only hit years later. As a kid I got an old Partners in Time game with a file that was already at Shroob Castle. The end of it. So I could basically fight the final boss whenever I wanted. Many years later, I would play FF7, then soon after, Partners in Time again.
If this actually happened, I would have anxiety from FF7 when replaying. Which I'm fine with, One Winged Angel is amazing.
OMG, this is such a crazy coincidence, but *_I also got a pre-owned copy of Partners In Time as a kid with a save file right before the final boss!_*
And the weirdest part about it was that to this day, *I have no clue how the previous owner could have gotten to that point,* and here's why.
If I remember correctly, all of the Bros. on that save file were like Level 27 or 29 or something. When I got to that point during _my own playthrough,_ I was a little over Level 40 with all of the Bros., and I still had trouble with the final boss battle.
*So it just astounds me that someone could have gotten that far in the game while avoiding* *_so many battles._*
