Carlin is precious. Just precious. When she was about to deliver and felt “out of it” I just cried with her. Her sweetness is unmatched.
She is one of God’s angels for sure 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.. Dad I don’t want to omit you for you to hold it together while watching your wife go through the passing out and having intense contractions,she is blessed to have you.
I feel like this video just reveals how incredibly sweet and kind and gentle Carlin is. I'm so encouraged by her gentleness and grateful attitude throughout the whole process. I hope you guys have many more babies! love y'all!

The "passing out" concerns me. They need to look in to that after the birth. I know it must concern you both. Especially you, Evan. She looks really pale. Love you all!! NK 🦀🙏🏻💜

They were awesome. I remember watching part 1 and thinking why didn't she get a midwife or dula, well turns out she didn't need one cuz the Lord placed those nurses in her room and they were on point 👏🏽amazing 👌🏽
With all of my kids I had a dedicated nurse in the room almost the entire time attending to my needs, talking to me, and helping couch my hubbie is I needed it.

Yes she is absolutely so very lucky!! My nurses were awful and cruel and made me cry the whole time I was there!! I tore pretty badly so I had quite a few stitches and it was incredibly painful to walk so when I was discharged I asked for a wheelchair and they laughed at me and told me no that the wheelchairs were for moms who actually needed them (c-section). I’m the end I got my wheelchair and they were even more terrible to me! Awful experience!!

I cried at the end when little Zade and Carlin meet. I always love seeing that. I am a birth doula and seeing the parents see their little one for this first time never gets old. So precious! Thank you for sharing!
Hey Stewart fam... I know you'll probably never see this comment but I'm still going to post it just in case by some slim chance you do. I am a registered nurse and a Stewart fam fan. I always watch all of your TH-cam videos. Last night at work I watched the latest video "It's moving day" and something about watching all of your precious memories in your old house made me go back and re-watch the videos of Carlin finding out that she was pregnant with little man, telling you Evan and then of course the birth vlog of baby boy. I have watched all of these videos before but something really stuck out to me this time. Of course hindsight is 20/20 so knowing that Carlin has since been diagnosed with a seizure disorder all of those "fainting spells" where she is "passing out" is probably mini-seizures. It was really telling when towards the end of the video when Carlin said "I don't want to miss it. I feel like I can't remember what is happening". That is very common after seizures and it's called the postictal period/phase. My brother was in his mid-30's and decided to go white water rafting. He had his first seizure in the boat, on the rapids. Initially he would have a seizure when he was doing something stressful or high adrenaline. Once he was put on medication to prevent them, he would only have one if he forgot to take his medicine. I would say that labor and delivery is stressful and high adrenaline so that's probably what triggered it.

Carlin I admire you for your strength and endurance and keeping a sense of humour through it all as well as your gratitude to all your helpers. Evan you were so sensitive to Carlin’s feelings and calming and reassuring. The editing in this video was especially good too, very engaging and suspenseful haha I am so happy for you that your labour was such a positive experience, you’re such a sweet couple and I love all your videos, best wishes from Australia!

After watching all these recent videos I notice the change in her after the IV. She passed out & then does the tight face lip scrunch thing & then on the ball said she was dizzy & seemed kinda off & then passed out again & was very shaky. Idk anything about the medical field but just from watching this & other videos it’s something I would note? Wishing you all the best & don’t wanna come across as trying to diagnose anything just observing. But I’m sure you’ve watched this so many times over. Sending so much love

Watching this after the video of Carlin going to the hospital from her latest episode, have you guys looked into POTS? Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. Means your blood pressure can’t regulate normally, so going from laying to standing, OR too much pressure (like during pushing when you aren’t breathing) can cause you to faint from lack of blood flow. I have a friend who has it, she has seizure like episodes with shakes from adrenaline. She did a tilt table test that showed it right away. Heart function will usually still show up normally on ECG. I pray y’all find answers for Carlins health!

@@skyeblue5669 Was the birth aided by 'Birth Canal Widening' to10cm diameter, avoiding tearing and episiotomy? As this helps to reduce our use of antibiotics,no break in the skin, no infection. So bacteria don't get resistant to yet another antibiotic.

What a precious miracle. I always cry when I see babies being born. I remember all the miracles God gave me the privilege to birth. I have been following the Bates family since before they had their own show. I fell in love when I saw y’all on the Duggar show. I pray for your precious family and feel like I know all of you. As a nurse and a mom of 3, birth experience is always so different one child to the next. I have seen and felt all of her emotions, all of her physical struggles, and how mind blowingly painful birth is when the meds don't kick in. A lot of people get upset when the see that dad is asleep, but I know how important it is for dad to get some rest too. When mom is exhausted and struggling, dad is there to help her focus and care for her and baby after birth while she finally rests. (It is annoying in the moment when your hormones are going crazy though. Lol)
He is literally adorable and Carlin did awesome through labor
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like they "need" to get a huge or several task done in one day that will actually take a week to get done!!
