- So stoked for this new release! In this video, we check out the latest release from @rc4wd - the Miller Rock Racer. Packed with so many features - 2-speed transmission, diff lockers, 2WD/4WD, and all the scale details - this has got to be one of the coolest new radio control vehicles I've reviewed in a while! This is modeled after Miller Motorsports team owner Eric Miller's Ultra4 race vehicle, which has won King of the Hammers multiple times.

I love this 1:1 rig. He is my solid axle king. Not a big rc4wd guy because the lack so much performance but this has my attention. Erik Miller is a pimp, great driver and truly the king of hammers.

I just did a hike with my bomber, Explored an abandoned train tunnel built-in the early 1900s. I consider myself a crawl basher... U4 is epic. I can sit down with a beer and crawl over a single rock for hours with my 4 wheelstair crawlers.... But when it comes to getting out and having fun hiking and exploring I want something that I can jump over rocks and do donuts. And when I get to a technical section it still can do 90% of what a dedicated crawler can do.
this rc crawles better then any lcg rig, diff lockers and 2 speed is gold❤

A tip for removing the wheels easily - get a screw with a 2mm hex head, screw two nuts onto the end of it and tighten them together. Now you'll just need a regular 5.5mm nut driver.

Because I use Dumbo RC tx/rx for my Rival MT10 it works great.

The first few batches, likely including the one featured in the video, came with little to no shock oil. RC4WD put out a statement that addressed this, but I’m not sure if they fixed it.

Thank you so much for explaining all the different channels. No one else has in their reviews. In your opinion would a Hobbywing Fusion Pro fit into the truck?
Looks great. Personally I'd prefer not quite so many scale details in favor of performance. It will be interesting to see how it holds up. With all the detail is funny they used Walker Evans style wheels instead of methods like Erik runs.
I just wish they made more Nitro for crawlers or just in general. New to RC trucks and cars. I've been flying for over 15 years.

Great review! Now you’ve had it a while, how does it manage a slow, technical crawl in comparison to a Bomber? My Bomber is getting long in the tooth and parts are rare here in the UK, so it might be time to look for a replacement.

It looks like you can almost run the steering bar over the knuckle? Would give the servo horn more clearance.
A different TH-camr says that the shocks have no oil. That's probably why it is so bouncy
The Traxxas TRX4 is $29 more. Hard to choose based on functions alone. I will have to learn more about the electronics included, but to be honest that's the 1st thing I upgrade in my RTR's. Although that servo seems plenty strong when it got bound up. Thanks for the detailed video. It looks like it was a lot of work editing and a few hours driving. Have a safe flight, I look forward to your future videos of the trip.

Hey RC Girl whassup this how the Axial Bomber should have been. I sold mine because I wasn't impressed with it like the handling.
So how does this Miller compare to your Axial bombers? Does it drive and handle better?
Rather trick looking replica rendition, but it does look like a chore to work on. User must like to work on something like this rig more than running it perhaps.

There no shock oil just little dont now why they dont say anything it cool but just rc4wd not known for reliability but i take chassis and swap under pinnings and go.

Yeah there isn't. Apparently it's a known issue in some of the early trucks. Just added oil and it's a TON better
