🚗 Day 6 was a long one, featuring a long travel day marked by 4 hours of queues, mandatory Covid tests, and multiple police checks. Despite the challenges, these moments painted a vivid picture of the stringent measures in place, reflecting the complexities of travelling through Xinjiang.
🏜️ Day 7 brought a superb change of pace as we ventured into the Kumtag Desert. The thrill of riding dune buggies across the vast, sandy expanse was an unforgettable experience, offering a stark contrast to the previous day's trials. The desert's majestic dunes and the sheer excitement of navigating them left us with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for Xinjiang's natural wonders.
