Hi, thks for yr vids on XinJiang. Planning a trip to go n chance upon yr vids. Did u sign up a tour pkg n with whom or did u do a free n easy, self driven? I noticed u brought a drone with u, r they strict or easy on allowing u to fly? Did u travel in 2021 but only posted these vids recently? Hi, no problem on all the questions! It's a hard trip to plan. Thanks for watching the video. Yes, we did a tour. You have to have a tour guide to travel in Xinjiang, otherwise you can not travel freely around there. We could fly the drone in most areas, providing it was safe on the app. I don't think we were allowed to fly it in Kashgar though. Yes, we did the trip in 2021 but I've only just had the chance to go through all the footage. We did the trip in the summer but it was very hot. Not sure when would be a better time, maybe in the spring. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions. Happy to help!

It's certainly not genocide. But they are letting people start to go hungry and not allowing people medical care who need it. It's not looking very good.

Yeah - lockdown is incredibly strict at the moment! The walk to get a covid test, at the end of the lane, is as far as we’ve been able to travel! Unless you’re shipped off to a hospital or hotel of course 😂🤦♀️

All good so far. The testing is very efficient and we haven’t spent longer than 10 mins waiting! Today it seems a lot stricter. We were given a slip to go out and had to hand it in at the testing site and then again when we arrived back at our compound.

The suitable destination in this season are Yunnan and Hainan province.
