    I purchased my 2022 M-20 from Contender last year and I've been VERY happy with your service! You delivered it all they way out here in Dallas using a bike-specific delivery service -- Top notch!

    The only thing missing is a removable battery. I ride the Aluminum with non eMTB group with motor off and it rides quite well. If the battery were removable it would be so much better value prop. Thanks for the video!

      A removable battery is a double-edged sword. The frame loses stiffness and gains weight with the introduction of a removable battery, so if they were to try to add that they may add more weight than you would lose by taking out of the battery, and you would sacrifice the ride quality.

    can you ride the bike without the battery? and how much does it weight without battery?

    • @ContenderBicycles

      Theoretically, you could remove it and ride it without the battery. But we wouldn't recommend this, as it's extremely labor intensive and requires you to drop the motor first before sliding the battery out. The bike would weigh just under 1900g lighter without the battery in it. If thats something you where thinking about however, the Orbea Occam is almost identical in geometry (3mm shorter chain-stays) but without a motor or battery.

      Wait for the Transition Relay. Should be hitting the shelves this spring. That's the bike you are probably looking for.

      @@mmodtomic7119 I ride my Orbea Rise Aluminum with the motor off. Its quite doable but probaby not as good as the Relay. Orbea needs to make the battery removable.

    is it 31.8 or 35mm stem and handlebar?

      @ContenderBicycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      The OC stem that comes on the Rise is a 35mm clamp size!

    Excuse me how much does it weigh with a 540 battery?

      Is the m10?

    • @magicsork657
      @magicsork657 ปีที่แล้ว

      i can guess around 19.2 for M size

    • @ContenderBicycles
      @ContenderBicycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 540 Wh battery will add on 800g to the weight of the bike when compared to the 360 Wh battery across any model

    • @ContenderBicycles
      @ContenderBicycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      And with a 540 Wh battery, ours weighs in at 43.4 lbs or 19.7 kg. Expect it to weigh 41.6 lbs or 18.9 kg with the smaller battery.

    Does this bike have motor rattle?

    • @ContenderBicycles
      @ContenderBicycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      While all motors will make some noise, we have found the EP8 to be on the quieter side and have not had a ton of issues with a rattle.
