Kanan’s death and the aftermath could be felt though out the last few episodes of rebels and it’s incredible and devastating. It’s one of the best deaths written in sw imo and it certainly has a lot of weight and lasting impact. Crazy it didn’t even make the top five
Honorable mention: Anakin losing his mother. The look of defeat he had on his face being so close to save her and the first time he felt not strong enough 😢
@@quinnthechallenger3955 right I’ll be honest I didn’t appreciate it as a kid as much as I do an adult but I felt that was Anakins first reason to be a Jedi was to help his mother and the fact he never stopped thinking about her for over ten years and not knowing what’s happening to her must have been so tough
For me it's always been Anakin/Vader's death. Perfect performances from both actors and no matter how much I watch it I have to hold back tears every time
I would consider S7 finale, when Vader found and ignited his old lightsaber and Ahsoka pays tribute to the clones Also Satine death had me on the floor ngl
I dont think he should have included qui gons death. I mean he died in his first movie and i feel like there were other characters that were more upsetting
I know, its so sad how random people nowadays survive a lightsaber wound when Qui Gon didnt. I almost feel like his death was unneccessary because of what disney have done to star wars. May Qui Gon rest in peace. ❤
Funny story: As a child, me and my brother loved watching the animated star wars series. My favorite was always anikin, while his was obi Wan. We loved watching the series and imagining we both are our favorite characters. Then once order 66 began We both were confused. Then seeing anakin turn broke our boths heart, especially mine. We cried our eyes out seeing anakin turn and everything getting to an end. After more than 8 years I still haven't recovered and probably never will.
My sister loves star wars just as much as me. We both cried and felt sympathy for the characters in these sad scenes, like when Ahsoka left, my sister cried throughout the credits
Goated ranking Imo: 1. Obi-Wan and Anakin's last moments as friends and Obi-Wan's speech 2. Obi-Wan apologizing to Vader/Anakin 3. Order 66 4. Anakin's Death 5. Qui-Gon's Death/Maul's Death
All parts that got me crying in Star Wars: 5.” Let me see you with my own eyes just once” 4.”YOU WHERE I BROTHER ANAKIN I LOVED YOU” “I HATE YOUU” 3.”Master Skywalker there are too many of them what are we going to do?” 2.”They’re like animals so a slaughtered them like animals, I hate them” 1.”I’m sorry Anakin For all of it”
Order 66 and the fight on mustafar are linked together so they’re both the saddest moments in Star Wars to me. The clones were great soldiers and friends and they were forced to kill the Jedi they’ve been fighting alongside their entire lives. Obi wan and anakin were like brothers but obi wan was forced to “kill” anakin because he had fallen to the dark side. And not to mention all of the Jedi that died and all the survivors that lost their padawans friends and masters in order 66.
Anakin's death is the saddest for me. A VERY close second is Vader and Obi-Wan's interaction when Obi-Wan cuts open Vader's helmet. Those two moments about brought tears. Not as bad as Will's death in POTC: AWE, but this is Star Wars, not Pirates of the Caribbean. But i actually cried when Will died and the Dutchman went under. But that just made his return all the sweeter
I had recently rewatched the phantom menace on Disney plus after not seeing it for a long time. to see his death after so long hit me hard to how much this affects not just Obi-wan and Anankin but the entire galaxy. Qui Gon Jin's death is very important and is for me the saddest death on here.
For me the saddest moment is starwars was at the end of season 7 of clone wars when Ahsoka and Rex were on the planet and all the clone trooper helmets were on the scrap from the crashed venator. I cried so hard ngl.
ahsoka leaving is by far sadder than qui gons death. we watched ahsoka and anakins adventures for years, and we only saw qui gon for like 50 minutes. i felt no emotion when qui gon died and i always tear up when i think about ahsoka leaving. she's always been one of my favorites.
The entire Mustafar scene from where Padme and Anakin meet on the landing platform all the way til “you were my brother Anakin, I loved you” was the saddest
honestly a really sad moment in star wars was ahsoka having to fight her old master she loved for so many years. Imagine your friends with someone for many years and they just started trying to murder you the next moment you see them. Such a sad moment.
the end of the final episode of the clone wars is spectacular. i watched the whole show about a year ago and i was silent for like 5 minutes after it ended cause i was still processing it all. the clone wars is arguably the greatest piece of media ever made
Memes have kinda ruint Obi Wans words to anakin for me. Ewan McGreggor delivers the "You were my brother anakin" line with such passion, and Haydens "I HATE YOU" is so raw and passionate you see how far gone he really is. Breaks me every time i hear it
When we see the aftermath of the crash at the end of clone wars when order 66 was given and Rex tried to save Ashoka. When she stands in front of the graves of the clones and when it moved to Jesses helmet…that just hit me different 😭
