Hello please I know how much apartment goes in Toronto
You should mention that landlords in Ontario can increase the rent after 12 months. There are limits on the maximum amount landlords can increase the rent on apartments built before 1990. The maximum increase for 2021 is 1.5%. For the year 2020, the guideline amount was 2.2%. For 2018 and 2019, it was 1.8%. If you live in an apartment or condo built after 1990 the landlord can increase the rent by any amount. There is a proposed law to limit rent increases on all apartments and condos, but that law has not yet been passed.

The Nigerian in me, will always go for an apartment. Condos are just fancy and expensive feels like a hotel.

@@gracefullysav3d A lot of places are safe but when I lived in Toronto I remember hearing most crimes from “Jane & Finch” & some parts of Scarborough. Remember this is what I heard and I definitely didn’t hear about EVERY crime in the city so check online maybe you will find something more accurate.

The first Condo was tiny and the bedroom is located in a weird place with no windows. $2200 a month??? I have a 2 bedroom apartment in the UK bigger than that and in a great location ( minus those views) and I pay £725 a month. I have an en suite bathroom plus a bathroom with a bath. The second Condo was even smaller but I liked the balcony and the views.

I dont agree my one bed apartment in south Croydon leave alone greater London was £850 plus £200 council tax plus £250 utility bills. So I dont know where u get your figures. So if you take 850 then it is equivalent to $1700 cad ish.

I think dishwashers do a great job . I used to think it doesn’t but it’s been a life saver. The guy behind the camera, his voice 🥰🥰

Hey b! You can try out liv.rent (it’s more secure to avoid scams). You can ask try out Facebook marketplace and if you do a Google search for apartments in the city you’ll see sites for some apartment building itself or other housing sites. Hope this helps!

I live in Mckinney Tx...20 mins from Dallas, Tx....with$2200..you can get a 4 Bedroom 2 Floor House 3000 sq feet..wow that place is wxpensive..what about Condo Fees...I will not buy that condo
Wow😯😳. I had to convert the money from CAD to USD because the ones in the video are in CAD. That’s still a good price for 4 bedroom in Tx tho! 😍😍. The condos I showed are in Toronto which is our “NYC” of Canada so high cost of living.
I live in Kitchener ON and I pay less for the mortgage of my house 2 floors plus beistman and big backyard just a 1:20 of Toronto.

Kitchener is more like 3 hours away . leave work at 3 oclock from down town toronto and tell me what time you reach home at Kitchener on a week day .
For a family, I guess its better to go for apartment. Those nice looking condos, some kids will smash a lot of things and you get to pay for them.

Shower curtains?? I thought everyone used glass screens in bathrooms. They’re both decorated nicely but the prices are crazy. I guess it’s similar to London and New York where you’re paying for the location though.

Thats about $2,000 CAD for a 2 bed, 2 bath...Comparable, depending again on where you live in Canada, no surprises here. $1,850 CAD is about $1,300 US

Hmm, really depends on how much you want to hold, there’s no “fixed” amount. Can’t really say any amount. I think it’s more like a bank account that has had/ has income that can reasonably support you.

I like the 2nd unit better. It's $400+ cheaper and you actually have a regular door to the bedroom and the balcony is really nice. Plus, with the first unit, you're basically paying for the view. If I had to choose, it would be the 2nd unit in Yorkdale.
Also, being that close to the CN Tower personally kinda creeps me out. Don't know why because I'm not scared of heights.
