The Mother Machine that the Rakata created is fascinating to me, they were able to build a sentient artificial intelligence that could create new force sensitive species ( Twi’lek Zabrak and Esh-Ka ) but they ultimately couldn’t prevent their own species downfall.
This was excellent - really great work. It’s been so hard to find such a comprehensive project on the Rakata such as yours…indeed, it’s hard to find ANY resource material on the history of the Skyriver Galaxy going back as far as the Celestials. By no means am I anything close to an expert on Star Wars lore, but after discovering the fan-driven universe of the 100,000 year history from The Celestials through The Old Republic, I have been consumed with learning all I can about it. I’m confident enough to declare your episode is in the top five of the most researched, concise, and authoritative works on the subject, and the best I’ve watched, listened, or read thus far. Nice work, and I really appreciate your effort on this as well as your other episodes.
Imagine if some dark miracle allowed these beings to make a resurgence in the galaxy, and they are adapted and mashed up with the vong in a new trilogy? In which their ESB is the gates reactivation?
It would be incredible, a threat that truly feels like a danger and that comes outside of The Galaxy, with extragalactic beings using unknown technology.
Totally agree and precisely in the next few videos I will narrate the history of the Sith and you will see how the artists were inspired by Egyptian clothing and visualization.
@@holocronofthegalaxy possibly Hittite and Assyrian look as well. The golden age of the Sith and the great hyperspace war has a very bronze Age aesthetic, I have always loved it

Lord Ada's sounds like the Sargon cross Ramses the great.
The ancient Sith empire has an ancient Egypt feel too it.
