Ha! Always love this. I do it on the regular, and it’s so fulfilling to make some really beautiful pieces. For me this puts the junk in junk journaling.
This is a wonderful video, Kathleen! Thank you! I really enjoy and certainly find it helpful to watch you during a session of using leftovers/scraps! I had to smile at the bonus die cuts that you discovered. 😘 I look forward to seeing these great pieces in journals. Love and big hugs! 😀💞
Kathleen, I love that you used that pin on one of the pieces you made. That reminded me of my grandmother. She often would use a straight pin to attach paper things together. I love those die-cut flower stems but hate to put the glue on them. ;-) All of your pieces turned out so pretty. Trash to treasure. Great job. (For the record, I would have been pondering over those things for ages. I love your quick decisions.) I just realized I used love three times, but I'm going to let it stand. Thanks for a fun video.
@@lindaspaperworks Oh thanks so much Linda! Yes, I also like the ideas of the pin because of my grandmothers. Both used pins, haha. Thanks for coming by!
I have an idea, Kathleen: we all come to your house for a JJ Camp!!!!! One good point: you won’t need to make videos…we’ll all be there!!!!!😂 Thanks for all you’re sharing with us! It’s priceless. 🤗 ❤️
I did this about a month ago, but my scraps were in a little box. It really is fun and I came up with some combinations I wouldn't have otherwise. Love the colors and cut outs :D
@@BeAgainBooks hahah - well I don’t stand up all the time and I do use our dining table (permanently now so it’s called the Creation Station) and I have a box I put the scraps in for the project I am working on at the time - so I can dig around in that and I have loads of strips! Can’t wait to get die cutting - I need to do that more 😊 thanks again for the inspo! P.S things still fall on the floor and my cat likes playing with the paper scraps so they do stay there for many days…weeks 🤣🤣🤣
