    You can use Overwhelming Splendor in response to a Dockside cast/reanimation target to blank his ability, or if you already have advantage you can use Humility to hit everyone. Also, set the clock for the Torpor/Hush effect on an enchantment. I guarantee it WILL exist eventually.
    EDIT: Also I forgot Dress Down, although that's only a temporary solution, the fact that it acts as instant speed interaction for combos means it probably goes in the list anyway.

    • @cedhtv

      Dress down should go inside a lot of decks.

    I wasn’t expecting much coming into this video, but holy shit this guy has so many interesting things to do in cEDH. And as another comment mentions, you could combine this with Divergent Transformations to make a dual pronged attack

  • @slippyminaj
    @slippyminaj 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    It might take a serious meta shift for this guy to really shine. He increments the Dockside counter by 2 upon resolution.
    It's the reason why I'm a bit scared to run Urza at the moment 😩

    • @cedhtv

    You could also do a divergent transformations deck since you get two bodies off the commander. Also could be fun :)

    NGL I never considered Decree of Silence Solemnity soft lock. I was considering some really silly combos involving intruder alarm. Since reanimating nyxbloom with wubrg dorks would result in some nutty stuff like winning through your own Rule of Law effects (Looking at you Eidolon of Rhetoric) and allowing some pretty nutty stuff just grabbing nyxbloom at end step. It's a way more narrow kenrith and probably strictly worse in almost every case, but still looks SUPER fun.

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think reanimating Decree would be really fun. Really horrible to play against.

    one of my favorite combos for it is using rule of law effects in combination with possibility storm (or things like knowledge pool) to lock out your opponents from the game. if youre playing general staxx you have rule of law, arcane laboratory, and archon of emeria (or lavinia) to accomplish it.

    • @lukeperrin02
      @lukeperrin02 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i like it better than decree of silence/solemnity because the mana cost of possibility storm/rule of law is cheaper and you’ll probably already be playing rule of law effects since you can get extra value off of go-shintai’s ability

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is true. Tiny problem with rule of law and possibility storm is that you also get locked out. I think there are some more locks you can have.
