Welcome Back! Today I am delving into one of my favorite films of all time, 1954's Godzilla (or Gojira). Many people, especially in the West, view Godzilla as a funny, unserious concept, but the original film is a deeply sorrowful exploration of the dangers of nuclear testing and the mourning of the Japanese people from the atomic bomb.
