Something to note is If you pull the feet out downward it reveals a ball joint for ankle movement.
I was about to say that what kills this figure for me is the lack of ankle tilt 😅
Here’s hoping for a ZAP Delta Megazord that can combine with this!
fyi concerning ankle articulation they're is a drop down ball joint for both feet just. you got to wiggle them down to reveal it
Love the detail on these ZAP figures. They are not perfect, but nice updates to the originals. Just wish they would put more money into articulation, rather than the box.
That is so true a nice box is great but the toy should be a priority but it’s more mobile than the old standard megazords
He did miss a bit of the articulation in the video. The feet are meant to be pulled down which gives it ankle tilt and some rotation. There is also an ab crunch. This one looks so much better than the ZAP Dino Megazord.
I don't think they need more articulation, I think they need better quality plastic at least the Zap Dino megazord and Dragonzord.

Easily the best ZAP item so far, but I do worry about the vac metal holding up. Even original Bandai Zords with vac metal flake over time, and Hasbro's vac metal was never as robust as Bandai's.
I love how when he sees anything he’s reacting like it’s an ASMR video or he’s a little kid again unboxing this during his birthday or Christmas
This figure is incredibly nostalgic for some reason. Maybe because of the sheer size to an adult collector reflects on having the DX figure in hand as a child. It doesn't help that Space is a season that I have fond memories as a kid especially being scared of the Barillian Bug episode and the Psycho Rangers.
Mine has some weird QC Issues. Like one arms ratchet is misaligned so it's never properly parallel with the body or straight in Ship Mode. The other arms ratchet had a ded zone in that spot but if you keep it there it will actually get stuck and require a lot of force to rotate it.
Megaranger is one of my favorite Super Sentais, and i'm very impressed on how good this figure is! Even Bandai didn't make a figure this quality!

Firstly for the blasters on the ship, they just pop out, and in theory you could plug any transformers weapon in there!
For those that are having issues with the clips stressing/breaking, I think I've figured out the root cause, because opening the front is quite tight, I think that's causing the whole thing to push, I'd recommend disengaging the arms from the legs/megaship body before opening the front in order to avoid any stressing! - Side note, I've found the best way to open the front is to snap down like you're breaking a biscuit, the clips split off really easily without risk of damage, then fold in!
Also, the feet do pull out and are in fact on ball joints. They're just a little tight to begin with!

There has been problems with the tiny rangers on the previous releases as well. I don't know how they are managing to mess that part up still.
Dreams do come true ! Megazord with articulation and cockpit space for the rangers Awesome.
One thing I would change is...articulate hands. I don't like having to swap hands on figures. I would rather if the hands were just molded in a fist to hold the weapons, or partially articulated
Wish the hands were either articulated, or they swapped out the closed fist with thrusters. The original toy had covers for the hands that you could put on while it was in space ship/combined mode.
I love these videos because I can just watch them play with it while mine stay in the boxes. I'll hand them down to the kids when they are older
Love mine, Only complaints, the thigh joints are VERY tight, and sometimes hard to rotate when transforming, Also the doors in ship mode always touch the shuttle when opening or closing.

The only thing that I find bizarre is that the hands could have bee fully articulated instead of swapping them. For the size, it's doable.
Maybe an upgrade kit?
I think they decided on removable hands so they could have a better grip on the weapons. They seem heavy enough that they could be hard to pose with if the hands could open/
@@420mralucard Usually there's always a tab inside the hands for the weapon to peg into. Then the grip of the hand complete holding the thing.

I know but I’ve never had one of those tabs work fully. They’re always either super hard to get at or they end up being to loose.
@@420mralucard Yeah, for some reason the usual square tab never really works. But some toys use a rail system that is pretty damn effective.

Ugh the way you open the nose of the ship... made me want to scream. I remember taking off the shield first and unlocking the arms and then prying apart the nose. Anyone else?
Astro Megazord was essentially a Power Rangers Transformer. It is almost a headmaster. I would hope Hasbro could nail it!

8:30 I’m glad I’m not the only one having issues opening the front of the ship. I was terrified I was doing it wrong and going to break it.
it really looks like it jumped of the screen, now the possibility maybe limited, but that is how the movement was, when the actors wearing the megazord suits

I found that funny that you had a Predaking cameo in the video because I was playing with mine before woching this.
I like my got it last weekend in a gamestop store and ended up saving 20 dollars because I had it already pre-ordered on the gamestop app so i canceled the pre-order and got my money for shipping back

It’s cool, but it’s like double the price of a Transformers Commander, which it’s only a little bigger than. And has significantly less poseability and complexity. I just don’t see where the extra cost is coming from.
yes its not cheap. but ist also not for playing. the zap line is many for Collectors like you or my self^^

the gun barrel is short to me.. and sad fuel tank is hollow. but i can not wait get my copy.. i hope they made delta megazord soon.. it will be nice next to my super minipla astro delta.

i've been watching megaranger on tubi (cause i didn't see the dvds and tubi's free ) and would love this cause of that especially if they made a delta megazord to go with it but the question would be.... where to put it? * sees the price * ouch then again i can't afford that
I wanted to get the first two sets from this line along with this guy.
But the complaints that I've heard about the plastic quality is making me kind of wary.
You're paying close to 200 dollars for just one of these. They should not feel cheap.
There is no excuse for that plastic quality at this price. I have seen a bunch of videos of breaks with the ZAP line.
Don't know if you noticed, but the Black Ranger you got is using the girl mold. And I'm pointing that out because the Black Ranger in In Space was a guy.
Honestly, as gorgeous as this Megazord is, and as much as I would LOVE to buy it, I absolutely HATE how Hasbro has recently made one of the most stupidest, virtue signaling decisions ever by somehow being more "environmentally friendly" by removing all plastic windows from all their toy brands' packaging, which either just leaves them fully exposed to dust, dirt, grime, damage, or worst of all; being stolen by thieves, or they're completely sealed up, and you have no idea if it's the original toy that you want, and for all you know it could've been easily swapped out for an entirely different figure, and on top of that, the plastic strings that did a much better job of holding the toys in place, whereas the paper ones don't hold in nearly as securely, and people can easily steal it if they tried hard enough, and then everything is completely wrapped up in cheapass paper, which just makes it feel like I bought a used item from eBay, and while I could be wrong, I highly doubt it protects the toys anywhere nearly as well as the vastly superior clear plastic wrappings did, not to mention it's not exactly "plastic free" if they're still using plastic tape, and that the toys themselves are still made out of plastic. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason that the Megazord feels a bit on the cheap might just be simply due to Hasbro not caring about the quality of their products that much these days anymore, nor about their consumers, while at the same time raising the prices of their products. "But hey, that's okay, look at all the plastic free packaging, and pretty artwork! :D" Fuck Hasbro.

While I never really had any interest in Power Rangers/Super Sentai (aside from Amy Jo Johnson 😍), this toy made me gasp the first time I saw it.

I think we will be getting the Delta. It appears that each Main Zord releases and then a combiner follows several months later just like the MMPR and Dragonzord. They know people will buy the combined form. I kinda wish they’d make some ZAP scale monsters. That’d be kinda sick
One example does not equal a pattern, especially when those first two releases were what are arguably the most popular Zords in history.

Looks great, just wish it had better articulation in the legs and arms. At least is an improvement compared to the original toy. Hope Hasbro do a line of iconic monsters in scale with the ZAP releases, would love an Ecliptor, Darkonda and Goldar to go with the megazords.
That's never going to happen. Hasbro isn't going to sell a 15" monster for $150 that only a few thousand people will buy, if that.
