7:45 You don't necessarily need to capture an animal as war ponies also count for all beastmaster purposes. I'd also argue that ponies are actually better tanks than bears because they can wear armor; the heavy pony armor has a rating of 21 defence and 212 armor points base. As long as there is still armor left they reflect 15 % of the incoming damage back on the attacker and the armor protects them from bleed effects. The damage of the ponies is not the best but they are surprisingly effective as support tanks and can also block paths effectively because of their size. You can even use them to break into enemy formations by overrunning the first enemy line and then engaging them from the back so that your other characters can attack them from the back. Unlike other heavy armor the pony armor does not reduce the speed btw. They may not be the best option in a min-maxing build but I have used my war ponies to great effect.
Good point on the armor, they are certainly better against fire / bleeding and other effects. My take on the classes is that it is worthwhile to have even tanks deal a good amount of damage.
And the war pony can bait a lot of those guard reinforcement with is "dash" mouvement, passing behind enemy lines and come back safely, bying time for others.
Hit one of your team mates and you have a chance to get cross eyed trait, +1 aptitude point -10% precision. Or you can trigger a trait on the guy you hit, eyes in the back of their head; can no longer be hit by team mates arrows. I forced it on my war pony last night... had a super clear shot but walked behind him and utterly betrayed his trust for a handy little trait. Hey horse... why the long face? "YOU JUST SHOT ME?!?" 😅😆😂
I like to combine the upgraded zone of control (4 shots instead of 3) in a combo with pikemen that use a spear that pushes the target, triggering the archer to do the finishing shot and net the valor points for the kill..
High level miners can get Arkhedian clusters, then you can alchemically turn it into steel with high level alchemists. Alternatively, you can buy it (for quite a price) from merchants in the Belerion area.

Not to mention the inspiration! 👌

Good comment, thanks for adding them.
Thanks for this. This game is so deep.
You are welcome Boris!
Playing the Xbox version of this game and I don’t have the marksman skill. Why is that? Do I have to unlock it?
Yes you have to unlock.
Yes, you need to unlock one skill for each of the classes. separate guide to that exists as well
Run is more useful, range is already decent and marksman only works on first shot
Infantryman is so broken compared to the others... So powerful
All of the classes are quite good, if you build them right :)

@Syken Plays you right
Hey bro, how do I find akhedian Steel?
