I forgot to mention that the bonus crit hit % you receive from Crime and Chaos path (C&C) depends on the level of the path. The bonus is as follows for every wanted level: - C&C Level 8: 1% - C&C Level 9: 2% - C&C Level 10: 3% - C&C Level 11: 4% - C&C Level 12: 5%
Another option for profession IMO is Tinkerer. Ive barely gotten into Arthes from Tiltren from a fresh playthrough, and mines already a Journeyman. That +12% crit chance is looking juicy. Very well laid out and worded video. Informative without all that fluff and filler that just bloats a video.
I like how Your party comp. Made me laugh. Would be boring for me thou. I like to have all classes personally, but I know how good swordsman is. It is for sure one of my favourite classes :)
That’s fair enough. I do plan to play around more with the other classes especially archers. The headshots are extremely satisfying haha. Just need to find the time :)
@@SapiensPeace Yeah Archers are awesome, they got very good ultimate ability. Every class has something going for them. Ranger - almost unlimited move potential and great damage (some offhands ale very powerful for AoE damage). Pikeman - interrupts any enemy move (including bosses), Brute - even more tanky tank, can be bult sith counter when disengaging as well; Warrior executioner - awesome AoE damage deleting 3-5 units in two moves. Pugalist - crazy single target damage, most boring of them all but his ult deletes bosses... I think all of them are interesting and fun to play, with pikeman very situational, but when the situation happens he is irreplaceable
You are stirring up the excitement in me to start Season 3 of Wartales and play with this other classes in more detail haha. Thanks for the info and excitement! 😊
my opinion, is that if you're using a shield, you're not maximizing the unit. you can get the matching armor perk and have massive amounts of guard and armor while using a two hander. Plus, once you get the claret (2h + Daze), you can disengage without retaliation.
Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it 😊 And great question. No reason really other than I forgot! So thank you for spotting this. For the 2nd oil, there are only 2 options in my view. Sharpening oil (+10% crit hit) or strength oil (50% chance to increase strength for 3 rounds). I prefer sharpening oil since it increases our burst dmg and normally, I'm not looking for a fight to last 3 rounds (especially ones that have reinforcements!). However, I haven't tested whether the buff stacks if we hit multiple times per turn - probably something I will test once I'm finished with the Belerion DLC. If it does stack, it is definitely worth considering since we're planning to hit a lot of times per turn 😊
You can proc defensive riposte everytime you engage and disengage. Though its 50-50, its still better than to just re engage with taunt. I always finish my turn with my swordsman disengaged since my helmet has the stamp where he gains riposte everytime he is engaged by an enemy. I took bulwark instead of counterattack, since defensive riposte does the job of counter attack already. But the biggest thing about it is everytime you engage you get 70% protection, and fury everytime you disengage. So AoO basically does no damage. I dont have use for inspire from CA since i have a warhorse as my 2nd lieutenant. I use its inspire skill and the lieutenant skill on my swordy so each engage and disengage, i generate two valour. Extreme difficulty really depletes valour points quick, so i dont engage without it.
Not for the swordsman build I run because the purpose of this build is for each swordsman to kill a few enemies in a single turn. Bleed on the other hand requires two turns to take effect. In saying that, bleed is pretty good against enemies that are tanky (lots of hp or armor).
I love your video. Your explanation is very easy to understand. Just curious though, have you tried using 2H sword instead of sword/shield for this build?
Thank you for the feedback ❤️. I have tried it but not extensively with this build. I'll probably give this a go if I were to play another season of Wartales 😊
Depends on your playstyle, preference and troop composition. I personally like swordies cause they are impervious to poison, bleeding and burning. Give both a try and see which one you prefer. U can always bench the one u don’t like, turn them into a prisoner or fire them 😁

Nice content, easy to follow your thought process.
Is there any reason that you don't apply a second oil to your weapon?

Is the stamp on the helmet called "Enhanced Visibility" by any chance?

Great guide
Thank you!
Steam Guide seems to use the bleed oil version for oils. What do you think of that alternative?

@@SapiensPeace well, cant wait to see it. Keep doing what ur doing man
Saran dari gua bang farming alazar Shield OP parah itu Shield kalo musuh nyerang malah kena counter attack 😂

How do you get intimidate buff?
It's a passive from the Helm of Legends heavy helmet that I obtained from the Arena of Legends 😊
Just use 4 One hand axe char and equip them with alazar Shield EZ
That’s an interesting idea! Any suggestions on the best way to farm Salazar Shields?
@@SapiensPeace farm drombach guard and use bear stew 15% equipment drop
Thank you! I’ll definitely try this out ☺️
The upgraded Counter-Attack changes everything 😮😮😮
It sure does!
