You might not think so but there are a ton of home options out there like this that are definitely around 100,000. The biggest question is are you doing it yourself? We’re having somebody else do it for you. They aren’t hard to put up.

I’m not sure of your math but when you say starting at 150,000 to 400,000 that is pretty much guaranteed to be over 100K
The 100k they are talking about is most likely for a kit and a good rule of thumb is that the actual build cost is 3 or 4 (sometimes more) times the cost of the kit. So 100k kit cost 400k to build. Plus land, septic install, running electric, cost of land...etc.

To become energy and food self-sufficient, I have partnered with Amish builders to make small houses that I add solar, batteries, wood stove, and high efficiency heat exchangers delivered for under $100K 720 sq ft in Wisconsin. I show them the "Ruth Stout" method of "no weeding, no watering gardening" which creates better soil every year. No septic or well needed if you use a composting toilet and atmospheric water generator, getting your water from the air. All this is possible to put together right now. And they are beautiful and finished.

On my Rez in the state of New York i was given a few acres, This is a perfect build for a barn type home! WOW! EPIC!

False advertising! A lot of this is NOT below 100k! In fact, so far, none of it is, since even the cheapest of 14 only includes the most critical components of the house, which is not necessarily a house you can legally move into.

Love Barndominium homes already looked into them 1870 from Texas has unique Ines pretty much massive shops and little 1000sq houses built into 100,000 but they don't DELIVER TO AZ

You're right. Many of these companies have in-house team who will help you build it or have contacts with contractors who will help you with the build at a reasonable cost.
