People (including me) are always so curious of what happened than. But sometimes when you get answers from someone who witnessed it, and see their sadness and grief, you feel guilty for your curiosity. Because that's what makes them sad. I'm sorry for you had to remember everything again. ❤God save you all
A well spoken third class passenger. So wise, so motherly. She speaks swedish, which is my mother tongue language. You could hear her country side dialect, but her vocabulary is rich and precise.
@sassyt1545 there are still documentaries that try to say it didn't split in two until after it was submerged due to the debrie field at the bottom being so close together. Personally i think it split on the surface but part of it was still held together (not a complete split with the bottom part still holding together) impossible to say but so many witnesses saw it split and its separate at the bottom not a coincidence
Can’t imagine what went through her mind thinking about it. You can see her pain in her eyes…😢
Beautiful woman. I found her absolutely fascinating. Her account is amazing. When she stated “ it was decided I should be saved” 🙏
Thank you for this rare interview, wish we could hear more about foreign peoples experience on the Titanic!
Åh, så fint att Agnes ville berätta ❤

fascinerande, utförligt, intressant, välartikulerat och ovärderligt vittnesmål
Sweet lady!😢
Her eye witness testimony was correct, the ship broke in two, as she sank. However, that would not be acknowledged as true for decades.
Its sad that a lot of the people who saw it broke never got to live to see the day where they were proven right
it's the same today- truth is not spoken without paying a price

Shes so pure, she was so reasonable and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt...
Thank you so much for this beautiful gift.
Thank you for posting this interview. I've not seen this lady's interview. I wonder how old her children were and what memories they might have had.
Fru Sandström! ❤ Vilken hjältinna! ❤️
You can see the PTSD in her eyes.
WOW! What a fortunate and courageous lady.
Very Scandinavian. You can clearly see her repressing her pain and fighting to keep it submerged, pardon the pun.
Yeah that is why we are getting taken advantage of by immigrants.
Born Nov 8th, 1887, she was probably 74 years old here.
