@@holon_phantom thank you I appreciate it. I have so many cards so I’ll see if I can make the decks. I appreciate everything that you do.
@@holon_phantom call also make sure if I have any extra stuff for trade you
@@MazterP28 Of course! I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
Loved the video! Would you be willing to make a battle with a fairy type pokémon as the main attacker? Could be anyone.
He has a Gardevoir & Sylveon GX deck from this format and a Gardevoir GX and Sylveon GX deck for 2017 that he has not featured on the channel yet, so maybe you can convince him to use one of those in a video some time soon.
Yeah, we could set that up. Probably in a few videos though, we already have some lined up that are being worked on.
@@holon_phantom Do you already have the matchup lined up? I was thinking Gardevoir GX/Sylveon GX versus Golisopod GX/Garbodor or Gardevoir & Sylveon GX versus Pidgeotto Control. Either would feature two decks not seen on this channel before.
Edit: Someone commented on your last 2017 video 2 months ago saying they wanted to see more 2017 and 2013 battles, and since you've had a 2019 battle within the past month, maybe you could do that 2017 battle and fulfill three requests (the request for a 2017 battle, for a Fairy type deck being featured in a battle, and for Gardevoir GX/Sylveon GX versus Golisopod GX/Garbodor) in a single video.
One thing I've noticed is that you seem to get another 10 subscribers every couple of days. This channel is creeping up the ranks far quicker than, say, Whimsicast, which is getting a subscriber or two every few days. With that being said, I'm a little confused by the subscriber to views ratio whenever I see one of your videos only get about 250 views. This probably shows how little I know about TH-cam, but I would have assumed that videos would get more views than a channel had subscribers because I would be expecting most of the subscribers and lots of random people to all be watching each video.
I wish it was that way, but the retro pokemon TCG community is so small and niche that most people don't even know that it exists. Most people that watch pokemon TCG content are either interested in pack opening videos or current format videos.
I wonder if part of the reason you have fewer views per video than you have subscribers is because of just how many formats you have featured on the channel. Maybe the gap would be smaller if you just focused on one format (Not suggesting you should)? Maybe having fewer views per video than subscribers for that channel is just normal for TH-cam, though.
And yes, the most popular Pokémon TCG videos involve opening packs. MellowMagikarp guesses that more people have seen someone open a pack of Skyridge than play a game with Roaring Moon ex. I guess retro Pokémon TCG is the niche market within the niche market. Which is probably fortunate for the dedicated fans when you consider how expensive many retro formats are already.
Also, it’s not like the most popular standard format streamers (like TrickyGym and Celio’s Network) haven’t featured retro Pokémon TCG gameplay or deck profiles. I’m sure plenty of people who watch those channels are aware of the fact that some people play older formats, they just aren’t invested enough to watch lots of retro videos, much less build and play those older formats.
