1 card away for Jake to get the comeback. Jake played his heart out!
Liam’s Zard build is awesome and what a fight by Jake. Super cool to see these games!
Man Liam had a great deck. I actually found the list for it and decided to try my luck at constructing it also since I had most of the cards anyway except for Prime Catcher and Buddy Buddy Poffin
Why do the cards have blue/orange backs? And does the tournament provide special tournament-back cards after you submit a deck list, or are those backs effectively taped on??
they’re sleeves, brohemian rhapsody
@@kakered Thanks, Broseidon! I have much to learn.
Choose your side Charizard or Blastoise
13:14 17+7=24 isn’t it??? Why he said 230??
why do they start w 8 cards? i thought you always draw 5 cards at the start
You start by drawing 7 cards, if your opponent mulligans, then you can draw an extra card if you want
@@hudos01 I’m sorry I still don’t get it. What does mulligans mean? I’m really trying to get into the tcg but never played a game against people that actually play the tcg. And do you always draw 7 cards or just in a tournament setting. Sorry for all these questions I’m just trying my best to understand the game so I can play it 😅😅
@@Brookly010if you want to learn I recommend either getting the Battle Academy or download Pokemon TCG Live
@@Brookly010Hi, so every player draw 7 cards as always but if one of them does not have a basic pokemon to put in play, that player must shuffle again and draw 7 cards until it gets a basic pokemon to play, for eachntime this is done the rival may choose to draw one extra cards at the beginnig. :)
@@agenteperry777 thx for clarifying. Been playing a couple games against family and we drew 5 cards each time 😅😅
