This is the first time hearing this case that I've actually understood what happened - thanks for the clear delivery. It just reminds me too how very young these girls were . As a teacher myself in the past, I always said the difference between a 12 year old and a 14 year old is the largest. I can't imagine how afraid Shanda was with these older scary girls.

I heard about this case a long time ago. She was tortured for 9 hours before she died. She suffered a long, painful death. This case is memorable to me for that reason. I don't know how her mother copes with it all

Oh my god. I was born & raised in Louisville & I’ve never heard this story!!!!! This is horrific! I have a 13 year old daughter & I cannot fathom the torture that poor baby girl went through. Those girls deserved the same treatment they gave her!!!!!!!!! This makes my blood boil! Knowing she cried for her mommy too 😭😭😭💔

Dying by fire is my worst nightmare. I used to work for the fire department and, 2 years ago, our house caught fire due to neighborhood fireworks. It was a complete loss, but we all made it out. I lost my cat, but our dogs made it out with us. I can’t believe I just watched two cases where there was death by fire. It is horrible.

@@ZaraV look up this case…friends, wives, murder, cheating, life insurance…20 years later…
      Jerry Michael “Mike” Williams
The brief synopsis: a man goes missing in December 2000. He was never found and declared dead. Family td alligators ate him. His mother refused to believe he died. The wife then married his BEST FRIEND within months of this. The best friend just so happened to have been the writer of Mike’s life insurance policies totaling over a million dollars. After the best friend was arrested for a separate incident in 2016, it’s discovered that Mike has been killed and his body is located. SO much drama. So much behind the scenes!!

The ages of these girls is so baffling, why tf is a 17 year old dating a 14 year old, they’re old enough to drive yet they take it upon themselves to be angry at a little girl who doesn’t even want Amanda, she just keeps being harrassed by her

I love, Love, LOVE what you said Zara at the end there... about what your husband was it, Jay? Who said that if you treat criminals like criminals they will always think they're criminals. Or that the world is exactly what they believe it to be because they weren't just BORN criminals.
Most likely when people act in a traumatic way, is because of trauma.
However, I grew up in an abusive home and never have I thought about killing anyone. I knew what he was doing was 100% wrong, but when I myself got sober and grew up a bit, I started to forgive him for how he treated me.
I learned that holding in the hatred in which he grew inside of me was only going to kill me and give him exactly what it felt like he wanted to happen in the first place.
Forgiving those who are at their worse is God's way of loving others and I believe that is what this life is about if you follow the Light. There are still however, shadows which when faced, we are able to turn them into light helping others grow away from the darkness whi h is truly inside all of us it just shows itself in different ways.
Great video, love you girl! I watch you every day, when are you going to make more videos it looks like you've slowed down?!?!
Proud of you also, to be a lawyer and I can tell you're a wonderful mother and wife! Keep reaching for your dreams baby girl- you're inspiring others to do the same for theirs ❤️

The part where you say is it because of the traumatic child hood I think yes and no because everyone handles their experiences differently there are plenty of children who go on to do horrible things like this who had a great childhood and vice versa I didn't have the worst childhood but I could have definitely been better there was sexual abuse not by my parents and mental abuse by my parents and and none of us kids turned out like that so I think it's just on how you choose to handle and cope with situations

Some older girls tried this on me when I was 15, so would've been 2006. He was a sk8r boi (couldn't resist), he was in my year at school but not in any of my classes so had no idea he existed for most of my time at school. When it was established we both liked each other I said "well you had better break up with your gf then" who was just one year above, but that one year separated the high school from the 6th form.
In England back then (just FYI the law has changed now so you have to be in some kind of education until 18) after aged 16 you could go get a job, be a 'dole dosser' which is someone who brags about sponging off the government because they don't want to work, go to college to learn a trade like plumbing or hairdressing, or stay on at school for a further 2 years in 6th Form to complete your A levels that you need to get into university. In year 11 you still wear a school uniform, in 6th form you wore suits, there was a big distinction between the two years.
So he breaks up with Miss 6th Form the next day to go out with me. Not very classy, but we're teens and that's hardly the worst offense you can commit. Once the rumours she started didn't get a rise out of me (apparently I had been sleeping with him for weeks prior, you know the drill), she gathered a bunch of her girl friends to drive up to my house at night and scream at my bedroom window for me to come out. Luckily, Miss 6th Form had no idea the horror show that was my home life so once you've been bullied by the best in the form of your own parents, ignoring her was literal child's play.
I finally snapped and screamed right in her face when she came up to me in the library and said "Let's put this behind us and move forward" like I was equally as guilty as her, going on about how "we've both done some nasty things". After I unleashed all my bottled up rage from home with the intensity of 1000 suns and she had silent tears running down her shocked-pikachu face, she never dared approach me again.
The lad got absolutely no flack whatsoever, obviously. We remained friends after we broke up and every girl who dated him after that hated me too. Everyone except me decided this was a HIMYM Robin Scherbatsky situation, said girls would want to 'discuss the issue with me' like it had anything to do with me haha
Sometimes I wonder what toxic lives these people must lead now, then I remember I don't care and pet my cats.

I'm not sure if you do videos on missing people but I'd love to see a video on Chance Englebert that went missing in Gering Nebraska couple years ago while visiting his in laws. His son was only 6 wks old when he went missing and his wife hasn't let his family have a relationship with his son. It's so heartbreaking 💔 His grandma has put $200,000 up for a reward hoping someone will speak up and give their family answers about what happened to him.
