You're absolutely right.... To lose a child is the worst... I lost my only child at 19 years young. 12/11/2019 He was shot 8 times..(3 of which were at close range in the back of his head)..... Now I just exist. My heart broke that very day.. my soul... I'm just broken.
“The French connection” was a narcotics thriller movie that came out in 1971. In the US in the 70s and 80s regular tv channels would occasionally show a whole movie and usually it was a big deal and everybody would watch it.

This case was actually made into a movie. It's called "Murder in Greenwich". Christopher Meloni from Law and Order SVU is in it. I saw it when I was super young and it's one of the reasons I got into true crime.

My daughter and her best friend were killed in a car accident almost 10 years ago and I CONSTANTLY think of all of the things she will never get to accomplish. They were only 10 years old and had their entire lives ahead of them...no first day of high school, no first kiss, no first date, no homecoming, no prom, no wedding to plan, no children....just absolutely robbed...So when you made the statement that you never get over it...trust me, you NEVER GET OVER IT! Soooo many people say that in time, you will learn to go on and get over it...that is a lie! This is a heartbreak that no amount of time will ever cure. My world came crashing down on me that day and each day I do TRY to be thankful that my 8 year old (who is about to be 18 now) was spared but she has endured sooooo much suffering...confined to a wheelchair and all bc an idiot was late to a wedding and ran a red light going entirely too fast...he never even tried to brake...and needless to say, he never made it to the wedding...but the real injustice is that he was only fined $1,000 and had his license taken away for 6 months...he walked away with zero injuries! He left me with one child dead and my other life flighted with traumatic brain injury, 110 days in the hospital, relearning everything bc her injury was to her brain stem (which controls everything) now she is confined to a wheelchair without her older sister who was also her best friend and they did everything together....to say it is tough is an understatement, but my daughter (Maleah) who is still fighting everyday to regain some type of normalcy, is a true miracle and the joy that keeps me going. I would never ever wish losing a child on ANYONE, not even my worst enemy.
Honestly there wasn't enough evidence to convict anyone. Anyone at anytime could have grabbed the golf club but I know finger printing wasn't around at the time of the crime but did the golf club not get saved so that later it could be tested 🤷🏻♀️ maybe he was up in the tree taking care of himself after he killed her. It just one of those cases where no matter how strongly you believe someone specific did it it could honestly been anyone. But the other brother said he went home then back for 20 minutes maybe he went home to get the golf club and was killing her for twenty minutes. It's truly sad no one will ever know exactly what happened other than the person that did it if they even remember it. Her mom is amazing to still have so much compassion for others and to still be getting through life

@@ZaraV actually a lot cold cases are being solved from dna. They are doing this genealogy thing where they are solving cases through the relatives of the murderer. A case from 1959 was solved. The Spokane Girl-scout murders for instance and several Jane doe’s have been solved from cases 50+ years ago.

Not sure about the spelling, but they are a god aweful pair of attorneys, that let their dogs terrorize and eventually murder their neighbor. It’s the first time, in San Francisco that dog owners got charged with murder. Very interesting.

Why didn’t they dust for finger prints on the golf club? My take on this is yes obviously Michael is guilty and possibly his brother too, but to say without a reason of doubt Michael is guilty is a stretch. Yes he couldn’t provide a alibi and constantly changed his story, and told other people he could have killed her, but there isn’t anything concrete enough that says I 100% thinks he’s guilty. There was really nothing tying him to the crime other then his own words which have been proven to be unreliable. Tommy had a better chance at getting charged because he admitted being with the victim and was actually the last person being seen with the victim and also lied originally about his alibi.
