My first new car at age 21 was a 2000 ZX2. I loved that car. It was a major step up for me from the beaters that barely ran that I had prior. It makes me smile to see one in such amazing condition and not a shitbox or in a junkyard! Mine had the 6 disc CD changer in the trunk and all of the power options available (locks, windows, mirrors) so I was living large back then! 😃
It's awesome to see a Ford Escort ZX2 in mint condition with regards to looks and the fact that it didn't have a lot of rust on the undercarriage made me smile. I was even happier seeing it with the original radio because installing an aftermarket audio system that is usually rather loud and obnoxious doesn't appeal to me. It's especially annoying when people blast their car stereos late at night when I am trying to get some sleep.

To bad I wasn't looking for this car back then, my engine in mine just recently went and I would have bought this car of yours.

i payed 1000 for mine with 110k on it. car runs so good doesnt burn any oil ac blows ice cold and its a 5 speed best beater ever imo
