That's awesome how you sanded the paint. I built the monogram model back in the 70's when I was a teenager but I never did all that. I really dig the shine you did on it. Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe they still make this exact model. I built mine in the 80's and it was one of my favorites. Those wheels look as good now as they did then.
Those Cragar SST's are some of the best looking wheels on a model car. For stiff tires you can heat them with a hair dryer to make them more pliable. The car looks great!
Nice work , really like your paint and trim with the Tented Glass.. This was the same kit that I built back around 1976 or 77, when I started to actually take my time with everything , and pay attention to detail.. I've built this kit 3 time's over the years , and each one was better than the first.. This is just a really cool car and just a fun build... Again Bro , very nice work , sweet car..🦅🇺🇸🦅
wow poe have seen my buddies build this kit built one when iwas a kid have a 67 usa 1 decals whas going to build superstock now i gotta get two amazing thanks scooter d 😎
Man that looks good, real nice work! One thing i do to all my chrome is a 50/50 paint/thinner solution with Tamiya smoke. It really gives kit chrome a realistic affect. Got ya subbed Pat
That looks sweet!! Glad you did side pipes in black. Makes the car look menacing! Have you ever tried using just a sharpie for window trim? Sometimes it can fade if you put a clear coat over it.
This is an Awesome Build ..... Bravo !!!
That's strait up off the hook. Awesome job. Looks Old School tough.
The extra steps on the finish…amazing!

I use the sharpie as well. Totally agree, the pens always try to fade over the clear coat
