I have loved this song, since the Sing Off!
I have a theory that Rob is an immortal. Everyone else has changed over time, and from the earliest videos to now Rob looks the same while the rest have changed. Even his beard and hair have frozen in time and never seam to change. Probably why his voice is so good. He has had since the dawn of time itself to prefect it.

I loved Rob's lead in this. It felt less "intense" and more wistful and romantic. I'm not musical, so I don't have the words to describe Rob's voice. I heard a reactor describe it as "majestic" and that sounds about right. The Sing Off version and this version are both completely awesome. Different qualities and moods, but both fantastic. It was so weird to see the guys at the beginning looking so "not positive", so to speak. Our guys are always the epitome of positive, high energy. And might I add, Rob has the most beautiful limpid eyes! His glasses kind of detract from how pretty they are. Very cute video! Home run yet again, Home Free.

I just watched PTX doing Kiss from a Rose. This was MUCH better! Been weighing which group is better than the other and I have to say it is Home Free.
@ricardobertuldo9744 The line between pop and country has been completely blurred. What they make now is pop with a country vibe. Go listen to the country music like Willy Nelson and the like and compare it to the song writers of today. Country told a story, now its just a bunch of words rhyming together that are repeated over and over. Thats what pop music is. Take a pop song and put it to a steel guitar and you have country.

How nice is it that it has become a completely different version than the Sing Off, with Rob (and Austin) in the lead. The video was so much fun too. @@gideonnaude1864I think so. Geoff from Voiceplay mentioned in a interview that Tim's voice is very different while he's speaking because it's too deep so that's why he doesn't consider himself a true bass (in Geoff's words).
@@windbringer9890 I would say so, it kinda sounds like subs but you can´t make it out and since Tim is more the Chest fry type that would make alot of sense. But defo no chest neither a growl unlike the sing off performance. I would say he has a G#1 at all times but E1? Nah not even on good days, maybe after a big hangover but it would sound very different!

Actually this is a very old song for them. It was their winning piece on The Sing-off. Yet this is a completely retooled version.
I love this video & rendition! Of course the singing & harmonies are terrific & Adam's beatboxing is always outstanding. The idea of "looking at the world through rose coloured glasses" being visualized into the precept that "perception is reality" is so creative! Love from Canada.

after watching it on Patreon all week I have a new reason for liking the video.
I've maintained That HF saved me and after seeing them live I feel like they have rewired my broken brain in positive ways.
