I have to make a point about this group of singers: THEY DON"T NEED INSTRUMENTS! In this video you never see even one musical instrument, and that's because they have the vocal and physical skills to provide what they need without them. Percussion done by one guy with no drum set, and other music provided by voices of the other members! Made this Doobie Brothers classic sound great yet again!

Great song to begin with and of course Home Free put their magic touch on it and it's spectacular now. Can't keep from smiling and chair dancing throughout the whole thing. Their voices are so amazing and Adam's beat boxing is electrifying. They never take a misstep. Loved it!
Linda is it me or does Adam look more into this song than he has in a while. I know their last couple have been slower more mellow songs but he just looks soooo happy I guess is a good word for it. Maybe the bandana was full of energy or something. He always seemed to move a lot more when he wore the bandanas but this one reminds me a lot of the energy he had in songs like Land of the Free. Maybe it's just the song. Looks like Austin trimmed that scraggly ass beard. It looks so much better in this one. He always looked good with his hair and beard the way they were in When A Man Loves A Woman.

I pick Air that I Breathe by The Mavericks, collaborate with Cesar de la Rosa from Voiceplay for his undertone high notes for the harmony, Eye on You by Chase Rice, Adam Chance with full lead, Adam Rupp will do shuttle movements of snare and hi-hat,collaborate with Kevin Oulsa from Penatatonix just his vocal.
Yes that would be a great cover for HomeFree. 👍
Because the Doobies had such great harmonies to start with I so want to see a collaboration between HF and them. like elvira/oak ridge boys; god bless the usa/lee greenwood; american pie/Don M). My brain smiles trying to imagine the harmony with all of those voices combined.
Agreed!!!
Any Doobie Brother cover works for me.
“Gotta Let the Music Play!” Home Free’s music is all I need to pump up my day. Love Home Free!!

Thank you, Home Free, for covering a classic songs by one of my all-time favorite bands: The Doobie Brothers! You guys rocked "Listen To The Music". The lead vocals, harmonies and beatboxing were awesome!
Yesterday on TH-cam I watched the Doobie Brothers perform this one. I haven't heard it for years - always loved it. In the video, two percussionists, and all four singers also playing guitar. Can hardly wait to see what Home Free does with this.
Wow! Absolutely spectacular! Love y'all!
Ok, I really had my doubts on covering the Doobies, but, with Adam Rupp laying down the drum beat, its good. Really good.
I wont say that the Doobies were my favorite group, but they did have several really good songs.. This was one of them!
Most excellent rendition of a great Doobie Brothers hit. Y'all have done another great song ❤️❤️❤️
by far the best acappella group on this planet ! ! !

Oh My Gosh - listen to Adam doing all that percussion, plus so many other sound effects, including that interesting wail. Adam, you are incredible!
I loved the Doobie Brothers, but you guys were absolutely amazing and completely true to the feel of the piece. Plus, I could actually understand all the words!
Ditto on finally understanding the words!😂👍🏻
What about this: Our Love by Tower of Power, definitely want Adam Rupp to take full lead, collaborate with Kevin Oulsa from Penatatonix as 2nd beatboxer, Eil Jacobson from Voiceplay with the high harmony with Austin Brown, Adam Chance, Rob Lundquit.
This is amazing!!! I could listen to over & over. They are FIRE on this!!! It is perfect & brings back so many memories. This makes me so proud to be a "Home Fry". They made this their own & still gave real to the original singers. Can't stop listening!!!
WOW!!! This is absolutely awesome!! I bet the The Doobie Brothers will agree.😁👍

Fantastic! What a great way to wake up this morning
Your covers are 9 out of 10 times arguably better than the originals, and that never happens.
Wow just wow. There are no words to describe just how good this is.
I think their sound will be perfect for "I want a lover with a slow hand."
9th grade this was a chart topper. Been one of my favorites since then !! This one will also have them dancing in the aisles at concerts. Been playing this almost non-stop on vimeo for last 2 days !!!!
What other songs covers do you want for Home Free to do? I pick Air that I Breathe by The Mavericks, collaborate with Cesar de la Rosa from Voiceplay.

Ok so, i grew up listening to Doobie Brothers. I really liked them but fell in love with them once Michael McDonald joined. I gotta say you guys slayed this song!!! i had high hopes when i saw you were covering this song and you guys didn't fail me. You put the Home Free spin on it and made it even better! Hello Kathie..
Well that's going on repeat straight away! Great performances all round but did somebody give Adam an extra espresso cos oh my word that was brilliant. Love it!!!
I know what Adam is capable of and I still am mind blown when I see and hear him perform. He's mesmerizing.
I’m really impressed with your comment, if you don’t mind friendship were are you from?
Adam Rupp - damn son that was some kick-ass percussion! You guys never cease to amaze me, another cover that blows the original away! This is a great one for the concert start or finish or encore - just play it live OK?! Def one of my favorites! 💛🎶💛
Sounds more like a warm-up song, to bring one in for the rest of *what's to come*. 🤔🤫😇🙏👍
What about this song: I Can't Hear Nothing But The Blues by Albert King, collaborate with Geoff from Voiceplay for his undertone harmony using subharmonic for the Bassline and Kevin Oulsa from Penatatonix for his vocal with the high harmony with Austin Brown, Rob Lundquit, Adam Chance definitely Tim Foust will take full lead.
@@cruzinsweetsntreats : maybe, your right. 🤯
Hello Nice to meeting you here
I’m really impressed with your comment, if you don’t mind friendship were are you from?
Saw this via Patreon first and was blown away. Austin's vocals are soaring and amazing, the harmonies are solid and add so much, the bass is amazing and the beatboxing and sound effects are completely blowing me away on this, even knowing what Adam Rupp is capable of. *applause* to you guys.
Hello Laura, How are you doing today?
We get it you have patreon😂🔥
Totally agree they are all amazing and this cover of Listen to the Music has blown me away too!!
@@Armandjansen993 Less "hey, I have Patreon!" than "these guys deserve support and hey look, if you wanna support them on Patreon you can get previews of videos along with other stuff."
Those Bassline, so impeccable without error and replay broken. If you so inclined I will tell you two vocal range that I have: first range: C#1- A5, register used: chest, growl, chest fry, subharmonic, second range: C3- A4, register used: head, mixed, Chest.
Amazing! Never thought any group could "out Doobie" the Doobie Brothers...was I ever wrong!
Absolutely loved it!!!! Always been a huge fan of the Doobie Bros. Home Free really nailed it.
Austin 🥰 always smiling and dancing !!
See y’all in August. ✌️💕
Can't tell you how many times I've watched this thru Patreon!! You all killed it as usual! Love the Doobie Brothers!
Loved it! Two of my favorite groups -- Doobie Brothers and Home Free. Can we get some Kansas and Chicago tunes please?!
Definitely Kansas: I definitely want Home Free to do: Dust in the Wind.
Absolutely wonderful!!!! Can’t wait to hear what is next for them!! They never disappoint!!!
It's the air drums while Adam "boom boom boom dah dah tsss" for me!
Excellent choice guys! Probably my favorite Doobie Brothers song, and a great message to share.
I'm smiling again!
Another great song done by you all. Keep up the great job, totally love any songs you all do.
