It's 5:30 am and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. My mom used to call me Delta Dawn and sing me this song. Used to make me so mad. Dating and relationships were always hard for me and I ended up moving in and taking care of my dad for a significant part of twenties and thirties. I had embraced spinsterhood. But I really think my mom sang the song to me to encourage me to not give up on finding love and I did eventually. I met the man that would become my husband about six months before my mom died, she didn't live to see us married or to meet her granddaughter but my dad did. He was very ill but he was able to walk me down the aisle and got to hold my daughter before he passed. I am convinced that he stayed until he knew that I was not going to be alone in this world. I was no longer their Delta Dawn but,Lisa Dawn. You never know what songs people will have a deep emotional connection to. Thank you for this. It made me feel like my parents were smiling down at me for a few minutes.

Oh my, my, my! The boys went full western cowboy for the first time and they all looked fantastic. The video was sensational with great cinematic views and editing. Brooke was amazing, and the guys were just exceptional with their harmonies. They brought this old classic by Tanya Tucker to new heights for the current generation to enjoy. This is one of their best videos yet, which are already too many to count. I just cannot say enough about the talent, quality, and professionalism of this vocal band. @@kentjohnsen3502 My Grandparents were from Webster, yes. George and Frances Zenk. Most people know the name because Grandpa raised Barley for Budweiser, and Wheat for General Mills. My other Grandpa, Grandpa Gillies, therefore bought a lot of cereal and beer! He owned a recycling company and sold natural gas and propane. ( Captain of the US Army Grandpa Gillies). I was born in Sioux Falls with my sister Georgette and my brother Garrette. My Step Dad couldn't handle 3 of us, so, we were raised separately. He is a Staff Seargant, retired, also US Army. Vietnam, Wounded Knee, and 4 tours in Afghanistan as well as multiple humanitarian things. It must be in the blood, because I do a lot of Midwest traveling, as well, unless medicine requires me to take a job for awhile. I was raised in Mitchell, SD. I have a Msster's Degree, work with the homeless, I am a member of Kiwanis. Today was my first day at a paid job. I'm working at Dairy Queen, learning how to be more relaxed at a less stressful job. Hopefully then in a few years back to bus driving. Unless the road and a new car take me elsewhere. You never know!

This an amazing arrangment. Everyone in this song is highlighted so well, and Brooke's and Austin's voices match so well together. While I've enjoyed hearing Tim display his incredible range and take the lead in many songs, it's great to listen to him in his low registers. Those base notes sounded incredible in my headphones.
