He had so much he wanted to do, but the AML stoppd everything, the doctors tried every possible way to treat him, but the cancer just spread too fast. so please keep my dad in your prayers, his name was Thomas. and if anyone does have that type of cancer(AML), please see if this type of drug: Revumenib, works on a patient. it has too.

Progress can be a great thing, but when it takes away something so beautiful, it is truly heartbreaking. Living in a crowded, busy neighborhood, I hardly know what that peaceful landscape feels like but you have shown us so many times how beautiful it is - or was - that I can have great sympathy. The year 2024 didn't end so well for this country with the New Year's Eve attacks, but I am hoping and praying for a better year in 2025 for each and everyone of us in this country and the world. I live on an old dairy farmstead that was whittled down to 2 acres years ago. It was eventually annexed into the City. Flooding nearby limits what the land can be used for. Developers have latched onto the other farmsteads around me. Thank goodness an older neighbor donated her home and acreage and it is being utilized by our university and historical society. Preserved by her Trust. Her 40 acres must drive the greedy developers/real estate people crazy! The property is currently mostly untouchable except for Court battles for easement rights. Bless Sarah Howe and her foresight!

I completely understand how you feel. There is a large housing development going in on the property next to where I live, and it breaks my heart to hear the "beep, beep, beep" of the equipment and smell the smoke from the fires that are burning all the trees they've cut down to build this new neighborhood.

Happy New Year Dr Lee. I’ve missed your videos, it’s been so long. Remembering from the time you mentioned the land close by being developed to what they have already done is so sad to see. We built our home 32yrs ago, and for years there were no homes across the road, eventually it was developed and now years later they have decided that high density housing is a great idea. It looks so, so, ugly ….. looking at what they have developed near you is luxury to what they have built around our area. The townhouses are right next to each other, as in you could touch hands with your neighbour through the windows. All the greenery is gone the bush slowly cleared away , roofs all the same ugly grey, everywhere you look. It’s caused flooding, between that and the railway line they put in. Kids have zero yard to play. Now they are starting to mention the odd “oh high density housing isn’t so great” but they continue to build this way. Traffic, that’s another nightmare….it becoming a concrete jungle everywhere. All the land that has been developed is astounding….suburbs now touching each other and acre upon acre of trees bush wildlife are now all gone, and we weren’t even on a farm like you. I really feel for you Dr Lee…. It’s really devastating watching what used to surround you disappear. I just pray you don’t get problems that the housing attracts the not so nice of society to your serene peaceful life. Really hoping that you can have a wonderful 2025, it must be so good to spend quality time with your grandchildren…. Wish we could too. Take care Love from Australia 💜🙏🏻✨

So good to see you Dr. Lee. My hometown in Kentucky is growing by leaps and bounds. It seems every square inch of ground is being built up. Apartments are everywhere and once beautiful views are gone now. I live about 35 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park and when it gets too much, I can always go visit there. I remember when I was a little girl going out to the field and pond to try and catch tadpoles. There are nothing but apartments there now.
It is so good to see you again, even if the news you share is sad. I have missed you and hope you do not wait so long to "visit" with us again. I hope all is well with your family.

We can relate. So sorry for this. After 32 years of bliss.. it’s finally happening. They are clearing the land next to us for townhomes. Watched the Great Horned Owl nest tree go down. 100 ft trees and live oaks. We tried and tried to buy some of the land, but they bundled it with neighbors to make it more attractive to developers. Heart broken.

Happy New Year Dr Lee. I’ve missed your videos, it’s been so long. Remembering from the time you mentioned the land close by being developed to what they have already done is so sad to see.
We built our home 32yrs ago, and for years there were no homes across the road, eventually it was developed and now years later they have decided that high density housing is a great idea. It looks so, so, ugly ….. looking at what they have developed near you is luxury to what they have built around our area. The townhouses are right next to each other, as in you could touch hands with your neighbour through the windows. All the greenery is gone the bush slowly cleared away , roofs all the same ugly grey, everywhere you look. It’s caused flooding, between that and the railway line they put in. Kids have zero yard to play.
Now they are starting to mention the odd “oh high density housing isn’t so great” but they continue to build this way. Traffic, that’s another nightmare….it becoming a concrete jungle everywhere. All the land that has been developed is astounding….suburbs now touching each other and acre upon acre of trees bush wildlife are now all gone, and we weren’t even on a farm like you.
I really feel for you Dr Lee…. It’s really devastating watching what used to surround you disappear.
I just pray you don’t get problems that the housing attracts the not so nice of society to your serene peaceful life.
Really hoping that you can have a wonderful 2025, it must be so good to spend quality time with your grandchildren…. Wish we could too.

So good to see you Dr. Lee. My hometown in Kentucky is growing by leaps and bounds. It seems every square inch of ground is being built up. Apartments are everywhere and once beautiful views are gone now. I live about 35 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park and when it gets too much, I can always go visit there. I remember when I was a little girl going out to the field and pond to try and catch tadpoles. There are nothing but apartments there now.
It is so good to see you again, even if the news you share is sad. I have missed you and hope you do not wait so long to "visit" with us again. I hope all is well with your family.

We can relate. So sorry for this. After 32 years of bliss.. it’s finally happening. They are clearing the land next to us for townhomes. Watched the Great Horned Owl nest tree go down. 100 ft trees and live oaks. We tried and tried to buy some of the land, but they bundled it with neighbors to make it more attractive to developers. Heart broken.
