I'm glad we don't have so many of these trucks here in Europe, they are unforgivingly stiff, hits too high, are too heavy, and the older ones are not compatible with ordinary cars' frontal crumble zone. Lots of unnecessary death and suffering on the american roads...

until the rear tire explotes on the highway causing to rollover and tearing apart everybody inside

@@VkRmotorsport Except for the rollover issue (which can be easily fixed if you lower it a bit), that truck is extremely safe. Someone walked away from a head on with a semi on a forum many years ago. The non-rollover death rate is extremely low according to stats. And 90% of the rollovers were from bad tires or terrible driving.

I have the same car. It's very comfortable but not stiff enough. The newer generations are safer but less comfortable. If you're looking for a very strong car, especially for side collisions, consider buying a CLS class; it's practically a tank. Also, if the car crumples during an accident, it's not always a bad thing. The design uses the momentum to absorb the impact, preventing high G-forces from harming your brain. Consider the cars from the '60s or '80s: the frames might remain intact, but the occupants often didn't survive. The same can happen for the Ford. it did not deploy airbag but the driver kissed the steering wheel.

The they should have slammed the ford explorer in the side of a ford focus or ford Fiesta and it would have completely sliced those cars in half because ford actually makes crappy cars very unsafe look at how the fiesta, focus fail crash test miserably and ford explorer fails roll over test miserably
